Set of Brackets that Let you Keep your Tonneau Cover

Adding either RCI's 18" Adjustable Bed Rack or 12" Adjustable Bed Rack usually means losing the ability to have an operate a tonneau cover on your truck of choice. With RCI's Tonneau Cover Adapter Brackets, you don't have to make sacrifices for most rail-based tonneau cover systems. RCI's Adapter Brackets bolt right onto your RCI Bed Rack of choice and feature multiple mounting options for your truck's bed rails so that you can still use your high-priced tonneau cover. While they require drilling, RCI's Tonneau Cover Adapter Brackets are a great way to utilize both a rack and a tonneau cover for all of your gear security and cargo management needs. The brackets even allow for the fairly easy removal of your RCI rack if you need more access to your truck's bed for larger cargo thanks to their two-piece design that bolts together with supplied hardware.

High-Strength Steel Brackets with Black Powder Coat Finish and New Hardware

Just like RCI's racks, their Tonneau Cover Adapter Brackets are built tough so that you can take your truck anywhere without worry. The brackets are made out of heavy-duty steel that then receives a two-stage black powder coat finish that protects them against corrosion in basically any climate or application. The Tonneau Adapters are compatible with both RCI 12" and 18" adjustable bed racks, though they do add 3" of height onto whichever bed rack you're using. Six adapter brackets along with new hardware are included in every kit. The brackets are compatible with most tonneau cover systems, though some exceptions do apply.

Require Drilling: these brackets will require drilling into your truck's bed rails for fitment and are not compatible with RCI's optional clamp systems.

Not Compatible with Some Non-Adjustable Bed Racks: these brackets are not compatible with older, non-adjustable RCI bed racks for Toyota Tacomas.

Tonneau Cover Compatibility: these adapters will work with most tonneau covers that do not come with integrated T-slot rails that cover the majority of the bed cap. The brackets will work with folding tonneau covers, though you will not be able to open the tonneau with the bed rack installed.
