Before You Buy: 2020-2021 F250 & F350 6.7L Budget Lifts

After purchasing your 2020-2021 F250 or F350 6.7L Super Duty, you may not want to spend a ton of money for a lift kit or leveling kit. Even though you do not want to spend a ton, you look at that beautiful Super Duty with those aggressive body lines and iconic blue oval on the front and think maybe it would look good with a bit of a lift. If not a lift, maybe just a level to give it a nice even stance to get rid of that front end rake and allow for some large wheels and tires. If this is you then you have come to the right place. Snagging a quality lift or leveling kit does not always mean having to break the bank. There are plenty of lift kits and leveling kits that are made with high-quality materials that will give your truck the stance that you dream about or see on the roadways. Since we are talking lifts and levels today, let's go from shortest to tallest as far as options go. Shall we? Okay let's dive in.

Spacer Leveling Kits For 2020-2021 Super Dutys

The first thing that can help at least level your truck is a Spacer Leveling Kit. A spacer leveling kit just raises the body of your vehicle without requiring a change in suspension. The first spacer kit that we will get into is one that we installed on our 2017 F250 Project Truck as you can see in the video below. The highly rated 2017-2021 F250 & F350 4WD Ready Lift 2.5" Front Leveling Kit is a budget-friendly kit that is created with strong materials to level out your truck. The good folks at ReadyLIFT designed this kit for quick and easy installation. Part of the reason is that included along with the coil spacers are sound isolators, shock extensions, bump stop extensions, a brake line relocation bracket, and sway bar drop brackets for proper installation of your new 2.5" front leveling kit. The best part about the installation of this is that it does not require any cutting whatsoever. If you want to just get the spacer kit that is more than capable of leveling out your truck. However, if you want to level out your truck and upgrade the shocks we have the same kit but with FOX shocks. The 2017-2021 F250 & F350 4WD ReadyLift 2.5" Leveling Kit w/ Fox Performance Series Shocks is the same kit as previously mentioned but it's a little bit more cost-wise. The reason for that is because of the FOX shocks that are featured with the spacers. This kit is mostly created for people that want to do some aggressive off-roading instead of mainly city driving. The shocks themselves are 2" in diameter with an aluminum body that improves cooling capability over the majority of steel-body shocks on the market. Each shock has a 5/8" chrome-hardened shaft and valving that's been finely tuned to offer your truck excellent off-road performance with making your street ride too harsh. The shock mounts are made out of CNC machined billet aluminum and come standard with nitrile rubber bushings that resist more deflection than stock but are still extremely quiet. In addition to that, the FOX 2.0 features an internal IFP mono-tube reservoir design that separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen. Another spacer kit that you can look into that is priced under 100 bucks is the 2005-2022 F250 & F350 Rough Country 1.5" Spacer Leveling Kit. Rough Country carefully designed this spacer kit to deliver precise fitment and preserve your 2005-2022 Super Duty's smooth factory ride quality. The spacers are constructed from solid aluminum and are designed with a subtle lip to lock into the factory seat, eliminating installation hassles and providing solid fitment. 100% bolt-on installation ensures a quick and painless process that you can do yourself in your garage with basic tools.

Leveling Springs and Coilovers For 2020-2021 Super Dutys

One step up from a basic spacer kit is to add a spring or coilover kit to your truck. These spring and coilover leveling kits don't just level your Super Duty, they can also provide a huge bump in both on and off-road suspension performance without spending extra for shocks. One kit to look into is the 2008-2021 F250 & F350 Bilstein B8 5162 2" Leveling Kit. This high-quality coilover front leveling kit comes with Bilstein's zinc-plated extended length coil springs as well as their B8 5162 monotube remote reservoir shocks for the front. This wicked combination will improve on and off-road performance and of course get you the clearance you need for bigger off-road tires - all with Bilstein's legendary reputation for quality and dependability. Featuring remote reservoir monotube B8 5162 front shocks, this performance leveling kit will take your 2008-2021 Super Duty to a whole new level of off-road performance without affecting street ride quality. The kit includes a full set of specially engineered progressive wound coil springs straight from ICON's factory here in the US. ICON achieves the front 4.5" lift with a pair of these high-performance coil springs which precisely correct your truck's suspension geometry. In addition to leveling out your Super Duty, these custom progressive wound coil springs increase strength, reliability and improve your overall ride quality and handling -- for both on and off-road conditions. If you would rather not just replace the springs or springs and front shocks then the 2011-2021 F250 & F350 4WD Rancho 2.5" Radius Arm Leveling System may be worth looking into. Rancho's 2.5" Radius Arm Leveling System comes with premium Rancho radius arms complete with OE-matching rubber upper mounts and lower brackets at the axle to allow for caster adjustment. The system also comes with new front coil springs leveling the front of the truck with the rear and maintaining your OE ride. Any of the kits mentioned here have the power to eliminate the front-end rake that comes on stock trucks and will allow you to throw on larger tires. They are also all well built and competitively priced so you really can't go wrong.

Lift Kits For 2020-2021 Super Dutys

On the chance you're looking to add some more height than a leveling kit can get you then we also have lift kits that are budget-friendly in price but not in quality. One to look at in this area is the 2020-2022 F250 & F350 6.7L Zone 4.5in Radius Arm Lift Kit. This kit features heavy-duty fabricated steel replacement radius arms that help to correct caster alignment while maximizing ground clearance. Zone specifically designed this kit to fit on your 2020-2022 with no cutting required. Zone even includes a fabricated track bar relocation bracket that helps re-center the front axle. In addition to that, there is also a forged Pittman arm that helps to correct steering angles. Zone also includes a single steering stabilizer and diesel front coils to round out the kit. If you want to go down this route there is the previously mentioned kit that features Zone's NX2 shocks that are more than capable or there is the 2020-2022 F250 & F350 6.7L Zone 4.5in Radius Arm Lift W/ FOX Shocks where you find yourself paying a bit more, but the shocks are better equipped for hardcore off-road stuff then the NX2s. If 4.5in isn't enough to lift for what you are picturing for your future project then we also have 2020-2022 F250 & F350 6.7L Zone 6in Radius Arm Lift Kit and 2020-2022 F250 & F350 6.7L Zone 6in Radius Arm Lift W/ FOX Shocks. These two lift kits have the same basic construction as the one previously mentioned but instead of 4.5in height, they give 6in which is a good difference. Lift kits are great for increasing ground clearance but that's not the only reason to possibly grab a lift kit. A lot of times lift kit is more than just upgrading height but rather upgrading suspension at the same time. There is a little bit of sticker shock with some lift kits but depending on what comes in each kit it may pay off in the long run.

Everything mentioned here will upgrade your Super Duty's exterior and allow for greater ground clearance with larger tires. That being said, everything in here is very budget-friendly as well. It's products that are very high quality with a lower price point. There's something to note with any of the previously mentioned products however and that is the Tremor package. If you happened to purchase the Tremor trim package for your Super Duty then you may not net the full advertised height on some of the lift kits and leveling kits. Each product will have a disclaimer at the bottom of the description for more information on this. That being said these products will still work on the Tremor and complement what Ford was trying to do with that particular trim package.
