Tackle Rugged Terrain With BF Goodrich Off-Road Tires
If you want the capability of pushing your truck to some off-road extremes, you need to have the right equipment. BF Goodrich is one of the most trusted names when it comes to tires and now has created a buzz with their new All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tires. Whether you're ripping through the desert, blazing new trails through the forest, maneuvering sand dunes or going all-out by rock-crawling, these aggressive off-road tires will definitely get you where you want to go. The 305/65R18, All-Terrain T/A KO2 BF Goodrich Tire features a 20% tougher side wall than versions in the past as well as race-proven CoreGard Technology to take on the toughest road hazards with confidence.
High-Quality Construction
The split and bruise resistant sidewall rubber on this tire is derived from BFGoodrich's race-proven Baja T/A KR2 tire. Adding a thicker, extended shoulder rubber down the sidewall helps to protect more of the critical sidewall failure zone. What this means is increased performance as well as longer tread-life which not only saves you money down the road but also extends your adventures on and off the road. Another great feature of these tires is their interlocking tread design which provides increased stability for more even wear over the long haul. This tread pattern rejects stones while the side walls help to clean-out and eject mud for when you're caught in the thick stuff. The beauty of the KO2 tire is that it strikes the perfect balance between the dependability you need for rugged trails and the menacing street look you want for every day street driving -- all while keeping excess tire noise to a minimum.

I have a 2016 F150 4x4 and will be buying the Fox 2.5 Factory Series Remote Reservoir Coilovers that offer 2" of front leveling. I would like to use 18x9" Method Racing Standard wheels (18mm offset / 5.75" backspace) with 305/65/R18 BFG KO2s, will I have any rubbing issues? And if they do rub, should I go with 275/70/R18 instead?
Asked by:
Sony S.
- 11/22/2016
As long as you have the factory upper control arms and aren't planning on doing an aftermarket uniball UCA down the road, this tire with the Method 18x9s should clear just fine with the Fox 2.5s at 2" of lift.

I have 2004 f150 fx4 with icon stage 2 coilover ~2 in level with 3 inch block in the rear? I don't think they will but would 305s rub with fuel trophy 9x18 With 5" bs?
Asked by:
Fk
- 1/3/2017
As long as your ICONs are set at 2" or more of front leveling, you should be able to clear that wheel and tire combination just fine without rubbing during street driving. The only time you're likely to see rub is if you're articulating your suspension while turning sharply.

I have a 2015 Screw with Rancho Coilovers. The truck has somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.25" of level in the front. Can I mount this tire on the stock 18x7.5" wheels?
Asked by:
Rich DeMaria
- 8/4/2016
You would likely get some rub with that combination, especially considering that the Ranchos may sag by about 1/4" over time.

Asked by:

You should not see rubbing with these tires with a 2" level on the factory wheels during normal driving. You may get a bit while turning and articulating at the same time.

I have a 2017 f150 3.5 Ecoboost screw cab fx4 if put on the 2.0 fox shock set at 2 inch lift would the 305 65 18 fit on the stock wheels with no rubbing?
Asked by:

- 8/22/2017
You would likely clear this tire just fine, though you would not be able to run an aftermarket UCA with this tire on the factory wheels if you wanted to upgrade down the road.

Will the 305/65r18 BFG ko2 fit a stock 2012 F-250 (with factory camper package)? It currently has factory 275/70r18's on it right now, and I'm in need of new tires. It's only a little taller, but over an inch wider. I put 305s on my old 1999 and they looked and worked great!
Asked by:
John C
- 11/9/2017
You should be able to clear these tires just fine on a stock Super Duty, though you
could
see some rub on the inner wheel well when turning and articulating heavily at the same time due to the increased width of the tire, but it would likely be very slight.

You likely won't have any rubbing issues during normal street driving, though you'll likely see at least some rub when turning and articulating at the same time.

I have a 2015 4wd and will have the AutoSpring 2.5" level installed. would these fit on the stock wheel and offset? My other option I am considering is a XD wheel with a +12
Asked by:
Jimmy
- 2/27/2018
You'll likely get a bit of rub when turning and articulating at the same time, but you shouldn't have an issue during normal street driving on a 2.5" level with this tire and the stock wheels. However, on the stock wheels you would not be able to clear an aftermarket UCA, coilover with reservoir, or lift kit if you're looking to upgrade in the future. You should not have any rubbing or fitment issues on an aftermarket 9" wide wheel with a +12mm offset and this tire.

Just purchased a 2018 F150 XLT with stock 18" wheels. I am adding a 2" Rough Country Leveling Kit this week. Will these tires work with my truck? -Thanks
Asked by:
Matt
- 10/24/2018
On the factory wheels, you'd probably end up with some crash bar rub with this wide of a tire. You'd likely need a wheel spacer in order to clear the crash bars, though you may end up with valance rub which can be solved with some trimming.

I have a 2016 stock f150 XLT supercrew cab with 275/65/R18 tires on it, if I install 2" Bora spacers on it will I be able to run larger tires if so what is the max tire I can run on it? TY!
Asked by:
Tony
- 10/25/2018
You will not. If anything, a set of wheel spacers will actually limit you on what size tire you can run without rubbing, due to the fact that they push the apex of the tire out to where the wheel well starts curving back in. If you want to increase clearance to run this tire, you'd need either a leveling or lift kit. This tire will likely rub on the crash bars a bit on the factory wheels, and you'd probably have to use a 9" wide wheel with at most a +20mm offset to clear it completely. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about what you're trying to do.

I have a 2003 ford Excursion with 7.3l 4x4. I am putting these on 18x9 Black Rhino with a -12 offset, rather than the 12 offset. I have a new 2 and 2.8 leveling kit on it. Is the -12 correct for my truck with these tires?
Asked by:
GODZILLA
- 10/30/2018
On an Excursion with 2" worth of leveling, you shouldn't have issues with either offset choice. That being said, the -12mm will look more aggressive, since it'll push the tire out from the wheel well.

I've got a 2017 FX4 with a RC 2" front level and Halo lifts rear block (net .75" over factory). I have Fuel trophy 18x9 (+20) wheels and currently running 275/70/18 KO2's. Will these work and would these be the largest tire I could fit without any crash bar modifications? The 275's don't have the width I would like. Thanks!
Asked by:
Rich
- 12/5/2018
This tire should clear your F150's crash bars, but 305 is the widest I would go with that particular wheel's offset and backspacing. You way get a hint of hub when turning and articulating at the same time, but you will probably be fine during normal street driving.

Can I Use this tire 305 65 18 on 2018 F-150 with falcon level kit ?
Asked by:
Pat
- 1/23/2019
That's going to somewhat depend on what wheel you're planning to use, specifically its width, backspacing, and offsets. In general, you will likely fit this tire just fine on an 18x9" wheel with a 0mm to 12mm offset without needing to trim or experience rub. Other wheel and offset options may give you some rubbing issues. Your best bet would be to
contact us directly
so we can get more specific about what wheels you're planning to use.

Will I need to get new suspension/lift kit for these to fit on my 2015 Platinum?
Asked by:
steven
- 2/12/2019
This tire will require at least a 2" leveling kit in order to clear without serious issues. That being said, F150 Platinum models came with 20" wheels, and this particular tire is only for 18" wheels. A similar tire would be
BFG's 305/55R20 KO2
. Please confirm the diameter of your F150's wheels before ordering.

My question is will my truck fit 305/65r18 tires? Would like to put those on method nv 18” wheels if they would fit
Asked by:

- 3/1/2019
As long as you're running the Bilsteins at their maximum 2.1" ride height setting, you should be able to clear that wheel and tire combination during normal street driving. You may need see some rub while turning and articulating at the same time, however.

Michael Schiller

You should be able to clear this tire with an 18x9" wheel with a +18mm, +12mm, and possibly an 01mm offset. You will probably still see some rub if your articulating and turning at the same time on a truck at stock ride height.

2019 screw f150 fx4. Running Bilstein 5100 adjustable level kit all the way up to max height of 2.10. I have 18x9 +18mm offset wheels. Do you see any rubbing issues with these LT305/65R18 ko2's?
Asked by:
Matthew
- 7/24/2019
With the Bislteins set at their full ride height, you should not see rub during normal street driving with that particular wheel. For a bit, our
2015 F150 XLT Project Truck
was on a 2" leveling kit with Method 18x9" +18mm offset wheels with a 2" leveling kit and only saw a bit of rub when we were really articulating and beating on it off-road. Normal on-road driving saw no rub.

As long as you're not using aftermarket UCAs, you MIGHT be fine during normal street driving. However, as soon as you start articulating and turning, you'll probably see some rub. Your much safer bet would be a 295/65R18 or a 285/70R18.
