2022 F250 Tremor
These were direct replacements for the stock Tremor shocks that were very harsh riding and developed a “clunking” sound on driver’s front and both rear after only 12k miles. I was able to do these front shocks in my driveway without even removing the wheels or lifting the truck in about two hours time. Just turn the wheel to full lock and there is plenty of room. Drastically improved the ride quality of this truck. I did the tears first and was so impressed I ordered the fronts. Also, the driver’s side from clunk became apparent after the rear clunks were removed. Very happy and totally recommend

2022 Ford F250
I installed the Bilstein 5100 on my 2022 Ford F250 XLT to replace the factory stocks shock with the intend to improvement the ride. To be real I'm not feel any improvement. I'm not saying they're not good shock. However, they didn't meet my expectations in this application.

Customer Answer According to Bilstein, these shocks will fit a Tremor that's at 0-2" of ride height.

Customer Question I have a 21 F250- Since the 2020+ F250 Sit 1in lower in the front are these good up to a 3.5 in lift for the new models?

Asked by: Bill - 12/7/2021
Customer Answer Bilstein still rates these shocks for up to 2.5" of front lift on the 2021 Super Dutys, and they aren't recommended for 3.5" of front lift.

Customer Question 2018 F350 Super Duty crew cab 4wd. Not lifted. will these shocks work on the front? I see none of the same model shocks listed for 0" front lift?

Asked by: wyguide - 6/28/2020
Customer Answer The Bilstein 5100s are specifically for trucks that are leveled. Bilstein does not offer a 5100 for stock-height vehicles. They do offer a 4600, but they are for factory ride heights only. To order a set of Bilstein 4600s, please give us a call directly at 623-434-5277.

Customer Question Can I run these Bilstein 5100s if I have a 1.5” level (spacer) up front? From my research it looks like the 4600s are for stock height trucks, and the 5100s say 2-2.5” lift. I didn’t know which shock would be better in this application since I’m kind of in between the two. Thanks!

Asked by: Austin - 8/31/2019
Customer Answer Neither is really ideal, since 1.5" is still outside of their recommended range. You'd probably be better off with the 5100s, since they'll be at least closer travel-wise.
