High-Quality, High-Performance Suspension Kit at a Great Price
F150s that are going to see serious use both on and off the road are going to need a suspension overhaul using quality components that provide excellent performance. However, you don't have to break your bank doing it, and our Bilstein 6112 Stage 2 System replaces your factory coilover assemblies and rear shocks with awesome and powerful Bilstein coilover assemblies and remote reservoir rear shocks at a great price. Each one of these packages features a par of Bilstein 6112 front coilover assemblies, as well as a pair of Bilstein 5160 rear shocks that work together to give your F150 a huge bump in handling and capability both on an off-road. The 6112 front coilover assemblies feature selectable spring perches that can add 0", .5", 1.5", 2", or 2.5" of ride height to help reduce your truck's rake and get you clearance for larger wheel and tire combinations. The 5160 rear shocks can handle up to 2" of rear lift, allowing you to use 3" rear blocks, add-a-leafs, or complete aftermarket leaf packs without any issues with the shocks. Both the 6112 coilover assemblies and the 5160 rear shocks install right in place of your F150's stock components in a straightforward installation.
Bilstein 6112s with 60mm Shock Body with Digressive Valving and Bilstein Spring
The Bilstein 6112 Front Coilover Assemblies feature a durable construction with a piston and valving designed to handle aggressive applications. The coilovers are built around a 60mm diameter (2.36") shock body that has a much larger oil capacity than stock and features a zinc plated finish to help prevent corrosion. The shock assembly utilizes a gas-charged monotube internal design with a digressive piston with valving tuned specifically for your truck. The coilover assembly comes with a new Bilstein spring and billet spring seats that use a snap ring to fit into grooves on the shock body for ride height adjustments. The assembly reuses the factory upper coilover mount, bump stop, and hardware. The 6112s come with installation and ride height adjustment instructions.
Rear Shocks with a Gas-Charged Monotube Design with Remotely-Mounted Reservoir
Each shock was designed from the ground up to provide both a huge increase in performance and fade-resistance over the factory rear shock. The 5160 rear shock utilizes a gas-charged, monotube internal design with a 46mm internal diameter that provides improved rebound and response over stock. Bilstein designs each of the 5160 rear shocks with velocity-sensitive digressive valving that helps provide a smooth and clean ride on the street, while still easily handling off-road abuse. The remotely-mounted reservoir can be mounted to the shock piggy-back style with the shock's included hardware, or away from the main shock body thanks to its unique swivel banjo-fitting and malleable hose. Both the shock and the reservoir feature a clear zinc-plated finish for protection against corrosion.
Fitment:
2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 F150 4WD
Powerboost Hybrid:
Provides 0-1.9" Front Lift
Tremor trim:
Provides 0-1.5" Front Lift
Will not fit CCD System:
this kit will not fit F150s equipped with Ford's Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) system.
Requires spring compressor:
the front coilover assemblies require you to transfer over your F150's stock upper mount and spring isolator for installation. Installation requires the use of a spring compressor, and we
strongly
recommend using a wall-mount or floor-mount spring compressor due to the size and spring rate of the springs involved.
UCA Note:
if you do choose to add UCAs to this kit, please keep in mind that aftermarket UCAs have specific wheel backspacing requirements. Most UCAs need 5" of wheel backspace in order to clear 12.50" wide tires. If you're unsure if your UCAs will fit, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at
[email protected]
.
4WD F150s Only
: this version of the 6112 Suspension Kit only fits 4WD F150s and will not fit 2WD/RWD F150s.
This 6112 kit is only designed to fit the Crew Cab configuration, not the Extended or Single/Standard Cab models.

2022 F150 4X4 HDPP
Great set of shock for a truck. I had mine installed a few days after my new truck arrived, around 500miles. These on the 2.5inch setting are so much better than factory 4x4 (non FX4) shocks. Ride is still great, but no more wallowing over bumps and stuff, it just soaks it up and rebounds, no fuss or extra up and down motion. I paired these with Upper Control Arms for better angles and more tire clearance

Is there much of a difference between this kit and the Ford Performance leveling kit?
Asked by:
Aaron
- 12/29/2024
This kit is not a complete assembly and has several different height options to choose from when assembling them. The Ford Performance kit is a complete strut and only has the option for 2" of lift so it's not height adjustable.

Down at the bottom it states that they will only fit on a crew cab model which seems false. Is that correct?
Asked by:
Eddie
- 9/17/2024
Bilstein does list this as working with some supercab models depending on engine, and does not recommend it on regular cab models.

Vehicle : 2023 F150 4x4 Super Crew STX Will the bilstein 6112 coil make contact with factory UCA's at full droop? I am planning on using the 1.5" setting with factory control arms and 285/70r18 tires. will this likely all fit with no binding or rubbing?
Asked by:
Will
- 8/15/2024
You typically will not have spring contact issues at 1.5". If you go with the max 2.5" settings, than you may have spring contact at full droop with factory uca.

Can you confirm this is the new updated ones (black bilstein logo instead of the blue logo shown on your pictures)? In theory Bilstein does not sell the old ones, but your pictures show the old ones. Thanks.

Asked by:
Flockem
- 1/5/2024
They will fit a Tremor trimmed F150, but due to the Tremor already having a lift from factory, you may not see the full advertised lift heights.

Will this fit 2021 ford f150 XLT FX4 package? Also which UCA should be paired with this? 80% on road and 20% offroad overlanding camping trip Will 20inch factor wheels work with bigger tiers or need to get a different wheels?
Asked by:
MJ
- 1/4/2024
Yes this will Fit your 2021 XLT trim F150. UCA really depends what you want to get out of the kit. If planning to use stock wheels and a tire wider than 11.5", than we would recommend the SPC as you would have tire rub on the uca with any of the other options. Give our sales team a call if you have any other questions so we can talk about the specifics of your build. 623.434.5277 option 1.

2022 powerboost supercrew. Due to the weight difference of a powerboost, is this kit what is recommended? Or a kit with a stronger front spring?
Asked by:
Jonathan Parker
- 10/5/2023
This will work, but you will have reduced ride height due to the weight. At the moment there are no strut or coilovers that come with a spring rated for the Powerboost. If you are trying to get 2+ inches of height, it's recommended to run a spacer, or leveling strut that keeps the factory spring.

Would this Fit on a 2023 F150 Powerboost Max tow package?
Asked by:
Ivan Villeda
- 7/23/2023
As long as you do not have the CCD suspension this will work no problem. Also please note that due to the extra weight the powerboost platform has, you will see reduced ride height as the springs are rated for the standard gas engine models.

For clarification to the powerboost, will the 295s fit with stock wheels that has a +44 offset?
Asked by:

A 295 wide tire will clear on the stock wheels, but you're still going to be limited with tire height to at least some degree. To get more specific about your choice of tire, give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at

Do you have any experience on how much lift this will provide to a 2023 powerboost (f150 hybrid engine)? Wondering how much lift I can expect at the 2” or 2.5”height settings.
Asked by:
David Hall
- 11/22/2022
Unfortunately, we have not tried this package on a PowerBoost ourselves. Given the curb weight difference of the PowerBoosts over the standard 3.5L EcoBoosts, you may lose up to 1/2" of height over what they're rated for, but it's tough to say if that'll be exact.

Should I expect any issues putting these on a 22’ fx4 XLT 3.5 eco boost? Additionally, would these ride better than the fox 2.0? I most do everyday driving with camping/off-roading once a month. Reason I want a lift is to throw on some 285/75/r17s Thanks
Asked by:
CJ
- 10/31/2022
As long as your truck is not equipped with Ford's CCD, you should not have any technical issues. On-road, the ride quality between the 6112s and the Fox 2.0s is pretty similar. The 6112s and the 5160s arguably perform a littler better off-road, but the Fox 2.0s offer a bit more range of adjustability.

Using max settings on the front coil over, does it keep the tie rods and CVs within safe working parameters?
Asked by:
Greg
- 10/26/2022
The tie rods and CVs are generally fine at 2.5" of ride height. The stock UCAs are kind of a question. If you're solely on the street, the stock UCAs are probably fine, but if you're going to be off-road at all, you should probably consider aftermarket UCAs.

Can the coil overs be easily adjusted up or down in height after installing?
Asked by:
Jeff
- 10/7/2022
The springs and ride height of the front 6112s are not adjustable without a full disassembly, which requires removal from the truck.

Would you recommend replacing stock UCA’s with this kit on a 2022 F150?
Asked by:
Mike
- 10/7/2022
That somewhat depends on what you're doing with your truck. If you're primarily driving on the street and/or staying under the maximum 2.5" of leveling mark, you'd probably be fine with the stock UCAs. If you are going to be running the 6112s at their full 2.5" ride height and/or going off-road on the regular, we definitely recommend a set of aftermarket UCAs.

Will I be able to fit 35x12.5x18’s on Fuel Rebel 6 18x9 wheels with a 20 offset and 5.79” of backspacing if I add this kit to a 2023 Platinum Powerboost? If not, can I run 295/70/18’s?
Asked by:
Drew Ellis
- 9/23/2022
You likely won't clear a 35x12.50 with that wheel and this kit without trimming and/or crash bar removal. A 295/70R18 would likely clear without issues or with only really minor valance trimming.

I know these say they are for 4x4, and I see there are no options for a RWD for this specific set. My question is, I have a 2021 2wd STX. Are the 21 year models like the previous years where you could use a 4x4 coil over and net an approximate raise of 1 1/2 inches or so if I were to set these to the zero setting and using the 4x4 top hat? Or are there other differences that would make these not work for a 2wd? Thanks.
Asked by:
Nickolas
- 8/15/2022
We have not tried to install this kit on an RWD F150 as of yet. In theory, they should bolt up, but we can't guarantee what ride height you'd actually get, and we recommend adding a 1.5" to 3" rear block to keep the rear shocks in an optimal travel range.

hello, i have a f-150 lariat 2022 5.0l and i would like to buy this bilstein 6112 kit but i think it just fit on the 3.5l

This kit will bolt up fine to a 2021-2022 F150 5.0L. The only potential issue is that the ride height settings were designed for a 3.5L EcoBoost, which has a slightly heavier curb weight than the 5.0Ls. However, it likely wouldn't be off by more than a couple tenths of an inch.

Icon has a similar kit that states not to use with dynamic bending headlights. Will this kit work with the dynamic bending lights?

This works fine with Dynamic Bending Headlights. The only kits that have potential issues with Dynamics Bending Headlights are kits that include UCAs. However, it's my understanding that the latest iteration of ICON UCA has a provision for the Dynamic Bending lever assembly.

Im stuck between ordering these, or the Eibach complete coiler package. I loved my 5100s on my 2018... and don't want to betray bilstien.. but what would you recommend? haven't decided if im going to do just 2, or the full 2.5in of level, and I do about 85% street driving, so I want to be comfortable on the road as well! (stuck in the dump called the city of Los Angeles)

If you're predominantly on the street, you likely don't need a full coilover, and the Bilstein 6112s and the 5160s are likely the most you'd need.

I have a 2021 Ford Tremor and am looking to level the front end, How much would it be to install the Bilstein 6112 Stage 2 suspension package (including alignment if your shop does the same)? Thanks,

This kit will technically bolt up to a Tremor, but it will not level your truck. The Tremors are already 2" taller than the standard F150s and will only net you .5" of ride height. We do not do installs at Stage 3. If you're in the Phoenix area, we can recommend several good shops. For systems that will level your Tremor, please call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at
