Great quality blocks. Fit and finish were great. Easy install in about an hour. The description says the included nuts are nylok but the ones I received were just traditional grade 8 nuts. The hardware is also raw metal and starts to rust pretty quickly. I hit them with a quick coat of black paint and now it looks great!

Love these because they are factory style. I just installed them about 3 weeks ago. Did not think to paint them. Very happy with these when coupled with a 2.5" up front. Preserves enough rake to be able to tow without rear end droop.

The block itself is very high quality and like the other reviews stated, looks and feels just like an oversized OEM unit. What I don't like about the kit is that the hardware and U-bolts rusted almost immediately. I am going to have to swap out the hardware because I'm not comfortable with how pitted they are getting.

Customer Question I have a 2014 F150 FX4 -4X4, i have recently purchase from you the Fox Stage 2 Suspension Kit. can the rear Fox IFP Shocks can handle the 3" Rear Block lift.

Customer Answer The Fox 2.0 rear shocks are only rated to handle 1" of rear lift, and a 3" rear block adds a net 1.5" of lift. The maximum rear block size you could use would be a 2.50" rear block.

Customer Question I purchased the Bilsteiin 5100 kit from you for my 18 platinum. I am very happy with the results and set the lift to 1.75. I have a topper on order and in anticipation of a little sag, I want to order 3” rear blocks (leaning toward auto spring) to correct. I saw a couple brands are offering tapered blocks. Is this necessary? My OEM blocks are 1.25, so I will be increasing the spacing +1.75” Thank you!

Customer Answer Tapered blocks aren't 100% necessary, though they do help you truck's pinion angle which can help prevent driveline noise. The bad news is that the Bisltein 5100 rear shocks are only rated to handle 1" of rear lift over stock, and the Auto Spring block will push you beyond that. Your safer bet would be the Halo Lifts 2" to 2.50" Rear Block Kit, and the maximum rear block you could use would be the 2.50" variant.

Customer Answer This block replaces your factory block and gets you either 1.50" or 1.75" of net rear lift, depending on the size of your factory block (which is either 1.25" or 1.50" depending on year and submodel).

Customer Answer Yep. Both shocks can handle the height of this 3" block for mild off-roading.

Customer Question If I use this in conjunction with a 2" Autospring front level kit, will I need longer shocks or can I re use the stock ones? My trucks is a 2014 F150 STX SuperCrew, 5.5' bed.

Customer Answer Aftermarket shocks aren't strictly required for a 3" block, however, if you're going to be using the truck off-road and fully articulating the rear end on a regular basis, then we strongly recommend aftermarket rear shocks. A street truck or on-road towing vehicle will be fine with the factory shocks.

Customer Question Auto Spring's website describes these blocks are black polyurethane finished, but this image looks like uncoated steal. Are the blocks coated or no? Thanks.

Customer Answer They absolutely do come in a black polyurethane finish. Unfortunately, we haven't had these blocks in for our own images as of yet, and the unfinished cast blocks was the only image provided by Auto Spring.

Customer Question Will I need longer rear brake lines or shocks with these 3" blocks in the rear ?

Customer Answer You don't need extended brake lines for a 3" block, and you really only need longer aftermarket shocks if you plan on doing off-roading where your suspension will fully articulate. For a generally street application, you'll usually be fine with the factory shocks, though upgrading can be beneficial to your ride quality and handling.

Customer Question On the autospring website i read this " Our newest version 3 inch Tall(4WD) blocks are cast steel and identical to the factory blocks in design." So the ones you have for sale on your website would they be considered there newest version or are they the previous design?
