If you plan on putting your 2020-2022 F250 or F350 to work, then it should have the absolute best tools possible. When it comes to towing, some of the best things that you can do that helps in the areas of safety and performance is to look at 2020-2022 Super Duty towing upgrades. Some of the capabilities we can look into bettering are squat resistance, stability going down the road, and general towing overall. It's important to note that nothing mentioned here is going to add to how much weight your truck can tow but it will help you tow things closer to your truck's higher end of its towing capacity with fewer issues. There are more than a few leveling kits for 2004-2021 F150s out there, and they come in a wide variety of different ride heights, despite them all being labeled as "leveling kits." So what ride height actually gets your 2004-2021 F150 to a perfectly leveled, "dead-level" stance with no rake? The answer is fairly simple, but it gets extremely complicated once you get into the minutiae of different leveling kit types, condition of the rest of the truck's suspension, truck submodel, and other factors. In general, an increase of 2.5" of front ride height will get your F150 to a "dead-level" stance. BUT, there's also a few good reasons why you may not want to be dead-level in the first place, and with some of the issues we've already discussed, you may not even be at a perfect 2.5" of front ride height in a lot of cases.

There are everything from hardcore desert runner Broncos, brutal rock-crawl Bronco Builds, to adventure-ready Overland Broncos. However, if you need to tow or haul something heavy over long distances, or you happen to live somewhere like where we are based here in sunny Arizona where it gets to about 125 degrees Farenheit in the middle of Summer. Then it's worth upgrading the cooling in your truck to help it last longer and to help you keep it out of the shop as long as possible. Keeping your truck cool in high temperatures or under duress prevents from overheating which saves money and helps you get more out of your truck's capabilities. Any leveling kit decision for the 2015-2020 F150s depends ENTIRELY on what you're doing with your specific truck, what exact ride height you want, your budget, your primary driving style, what size tire you want to clear, your climate, and whatever else. The fact of the matter is that this marketplace is so hyper-competitive that anything inherently "bad" doesn't tend to last very long (except on eBay and Amazon, which are conversations for another day). The face of your 2021 Bronco is arguably the most important aesthetic of the entire vehicle. The classic flat faced design of your modern 4 door or 2 door Bronco pays homage to the original Broncos of the 20th century without going crossing the line of outdated design. One of the simplest, yet most effective, upgrades you can make to toughen up the look of the boxy design is by adding a bull bar. To the casual consumer a bull bar looks to be nothing more than a slab of steel slapped onto vehicles, but to you, the informed enthusiast, the bar represents protection, styling, and as you'll see in the remainder of this blog: lighting. These nudge bars fit 4 Door Broncos and 2 Door Broncos only.

Part of the reason someone goes after a 2011-2016 F250 or F350 6.7L Powerstroke is because of the towing capabilities. It does not matter if you are using your truck to haul things for work or if you are hauling a fifth wheel to your favorite lake for a family camping weekend. There are a lot of things that can be done to help with towing or hauling capabilities such as airbags, add-a-leaf kits, or even an upgraded hitch. Though one of the most important things to beef up when trying to build the absolute best tow rig is your Super Duty's cooling ability. Towing heavier loads puts a large strain on your engine and transmission (especially when towing uphill) so it's important to take a look at things like upgraded Radiators, Intercoolers, oil coolers, and things to help keep your transmission cool.

A lot of F150 owners think that just because they added some front ride height to their truck that they're good to go on pretty much any give tire (within reason) on pretty much any wheel they want to run. This is where we run into issues, because the choice of wheel plays a HUGE factor in fitting tires, and just because you threw a lift kit or a leveling kit on your 2011-2020 F150, doesn't mean you'll instantly be able to use whatever wheel and tire combination you have in mind. The big reason why has to with a given wheel's offset, backspacing, and width and how that interacts with its position inside your F150's wheel well, as well as the shape of the wheel well itself. It sounds confusing, but once you understand how different offsets and backspacing change the way tires fit on your F150 build of choice.
