Prepping your 2007 to 2014 F150 for some serious towing or hauling requires you to actually see what's going on behind your truck, and if you don't have the optional (and very expensive) factory tow package, then you're going to need to invest in some aftermarket tow mirrors. We here at Stage 3 carry a set of F150 tow mirrors with puddle lights that are bolt-on replacements for the standard, stock F150 mirrors ad give your truck a tough look and greatly improved rearward visibility. These mirrors are extremely easy to install, and we managed to get it done in practically no time with just a few basic hand tools and not much more than 15 minutes of our time. Basically, these mirrors are a clean, easy upgrade that can help finish up your truck build, just like our very own 2007 F150 5.4L XLT Project Truck.

Maybe it's just age getting to us at long last (we may even start telling kids to stay off our lawn), but the last thing we here at Stage 3 want in our lives as of late is eardrum-shatteringly loud 2011 to 2014 F150 EcoBoost in our stable. That's why we hit up our friends over at MBRP to come up with a whisper-quiet F150 EcoBoost cat-back exhaust system that still provides a hint of extra performance and some aftermarket flair without generating much of an exhaust tone at all. Well, MBRP outdid themselves and came up with four different "EcoSleeper" cat-back system variations so that you can find one to fit your F150 EcoBoost's styling theme or your budget. Each one of these kits comes with a new performance muffler and an additional resonator built into its inlet tubing, which keeps exhaust volume down and eliminates drone at cruising. These kits are the perfect way to add some extra flash and pep to your 2011 to 2014 F150 EcoBoost without getting an annoying sound.

Just what the specific difference between the Rigid Industries E-Series and E2 families of off-road LED light bars is probably one of the most-asked questions that we here at Stage 3 Motorsports get when it comes to Rigid's LED light bar lineup. We got the question often enough that we decided to grab a 40" E-Series Combo LED Light Bar and a 40" E2 Series LED Light Bar and put them side-by-side and go over the subtle, yet very important differences in their designs to see which one would work best for you and and your off-road vehicle of choice.

Our good friends over at UPR have updated their pretty excellent 2011 to 2014 F150 EcoBoost Dual-Valve Catch Cans with Clean Side Separators with a new clean side separator design that installs directly onto the driver's side PCV port instead of the oil cap neck to give your bay a cleaner look. While this update is a "good thing" at face value, UPR may or may not have instructions for the older CSS design and stuck them with the new catch can kits. Luckily the change was horribly drastic, and there's really only one change in the overall install process. Anyway, here's a link to UPR's updated PDF instructions, and a little explanation below of the differences between the old and new versions of the kit.

There's nothing better than great weather and the great outdoors, especially when you have some seriously built project trucks to screw around with. There's also nothing worse than not being invited on your coworkers' grand adventure, and then hearing how great it was. I'm not bitter. Not even little... Anyway, a few of the guys here at Stage 3 loaded up our 2012 F150 EcoBoost FX4 Project Truck and our 2007 F150 4WD 5.4L XLT Project Truck and headed up north to Prescott National Forest outside of Prescott, Arizona, for a little off-roading, photo shooting, and some testing out of some the new gear on both the trucks and on the Stage 3 Website. Luckily, they came back with good images and some insight into some of our newest performance parts and hardware.

We knew it our bones that our old friends over at JLT would have a cold air intake system for the 2015 Mustang GTs out before just about anybody else, and we were glad to know that we were right. JLT's 2015 Mustang GT 5.0L Cold Air Intake is extremely impressive and continues with JLT's philosophy of cramming as much air into the intake manifold as physically possible to make big power. The JLT 2015 Mustang GT 5.0L Cold Air Intake does it so well, that it requires a custom tune in order to keep your 2015 Mustang's 5.0L Coyote V8 functioning properly. JLT has even put a package together for pre-order that includes the JLT intake for the 2015 Mustangs and an SCT X4 handheld tuner to make the process that much easier. Just like JLT's other intake options, the 2015 Mustang GT 5.0L JLT Intake will come with different color options for the intake tube to match your Pony's paint color or styling theme.

Our friends and neighbors over at Airaid have been some busy folks indeed over the last few months, pouring over CAD information while putting together their lineup of cold air intakes for the 2015 Mustang GT 5.0Ls and 2.3L EcoBoosts. Their hard work has pair off, and Airaid has just announced the final versions of their 2015 Mustang cold air intakes, which should be available for ordering in early November. Just like on previous Mustangs, Airaid is offering both an oiled and dry filter options, along with several different color options for their Dry SynthaMax filters that include red, blue, and black variations. No official power numbers have been released as of yet, but these 2015 Mustang Airaid cold air intakes are looking like a good bet for your 2015 Pony's first modification!

One of the big hurdles for most folks when it comes to Rigid Industries' lineup of extremely powerful off-road LED lights and light bars is their price. Well, from October 1st, 2014, to December 31st, 2014, Rigid Industries is offering a mail-in rebate on all of their LED lights and light bars so that you can get some cash back on your order of Rigid Industries' awesome off-road LED lights.
