Long time local customers, Brett and James, stopped by for a bit yesterday to do a quick photo shoot with their pretty bad ass V6 Mustangs. These two cars are probably the most uniquely-styled Ponies around these parts and they're rocking a ton of Mustang performance parts and upgrades from us here at Stage 3 Motorsports. Both of these guys have put a ton of work into their Mustangs, and it's paid off is spades.

It seems like our old friends over at Diablosport have beaten everyone else to punch on the 2014 Mustangs. Diablosport has just announced tuning support for all 2014 Mustang submodels with their newest inTune handheld tuner and their Trinity tuner/dashboard monitors. Each of these tuners are jam-packed with the latest software and PCM calibrations that are capable of adding awesome horsepower and torque gains that you'll feel by the seat5 of your pants.

Decking out a Mustang in carbon fiber exterior bits isn't anything new, but few Ponies do it as well as Nicolae's awesome Shelby GT500. This sleek GT500 is rocking just about every TruCarbon carbon fiber exterior body piece in their inventory and has one of the most aggressive looks that you'll ever see on a GT500.

We always like to talk about mid-blowing and kind of insane levels of horsepower, but very few people actually live. James is one of those few, and his 2007 GT500. James sent us the following dyno sheet the other day, and pretty much blew our minds:

Right when we were starting to worry that our old friends over at Superchips had forgotten all about us Mustang kids, they go and release one of their most powerful and handy tuning devices yet. Meet the new Superchips SCR tuner and dashboard monitor.

Pype's Exhaust started with a 1967 Pontiac GTO. A very particular 1966 Pontiac GTO vinyl top that needed an aggressive and high-performing exhaust system. The owner of that GTO, Chris Casperson, wasn't very happy about the current exhaust offerings for his GTO and decided to put together his own exhaust system at a much lower price than his competitors. He sold his new exhaust parts at shows to fellow first generation GTO owners out of a couple of parts bins and made a killing. The combination of high-performance, high-quality, and low price was, unsurprisingly, a huge hit and the actual company, Pypes Exhaust, was born.

Steeda has a pathological obsession with flawless design. It's kind of adorable, and we love them for it. Just when you figured that the Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter for the 2005 to 2010 Mustangs couldn't get much better, Steeda went to their drawing boards to figure out how to make it better. Surprisingly, they succeeded.

We here at Stage 3 Motorsports are madly in love with the 2011 to 2013 F150 EcoBoost trucks. It's almost an unhealthy obsession, and we may need an intervention at some point. Honestly, what's not to love? Two Borg-Warner turbos dumping boost into a high-compression, direct-injected cylinders is just too sexy of a thing not to love. When you add in powerful PCM tunes that give it a smidge more horsepower and a whole hell of a lot more torque than an SVT Raptor, the sexy levels shoot through the roof.

This is more of a "Just Figured Out" rather than a "Just Added", but whatever. We'll roll with it. When the GT500s jumped to the 5.8L Trinity V8 in 2013, a lot of things changed that effected parts fitment from the 2012 models. Still, there's a few bits here and there that carry over, as well as some new GT500 performance parts and accessories that can make your 2013 Shelby come alive and get massive horsepower gains.

Bassani has released their Mustang 3.7L long tubes headers and complete header-back exhaust. This is great news, but the parts needed can be confusing.

Our good friends over at BMC Extreme Customs released their Supercharged Mongoose hood a good bit ago, and while we here at Stage 3 Motorsports though it was pretty sweet, some of you crazy Mustang kids were a bit scornful of this fairly radical hood design. This made us and BMC a little sad, but we're both going to try to change your minds.

Using our manufacturer contacts, immense Mustang knowledge, and by making a pretty huge and possibly reputation-ruining bet, we have confirmed fitments for the upcoming 2014 Mustangs. What fits? Basically everything that fits a 2013 Mustang. Call it an educated guess... we guess.

The 2011 to 2014 Mustang V6s are impressive cars. Period. Back in my day, we needed eight cylinders and all of the stars in the heavens aligned to make 300 horsepower from the factory. With all this power comes the potential for even more, and even though its easy to get some extra horsepower and torque, your stock clutch and flywheel make it pretty hard to get it to your wheels. The fairly weak factory dual-mass flywheel and clutch are a huge hindrance when it comes to pushing the performance envelope, but our friends at RAM Clutches are here to help.

Ford's SVT Raptor is a serious truck deserving of a serious exhaust tone that the stock system just doesn't deliver. MBRP agrees and offers some seriously cool exhaust options for your 2011 to 2013 SVT Raptor. MBRP's 3.5 Inch exhaust system is available in aluminized, stainless and black finishes and provides your truck with a big, mean exhaust tone that will blow you away.

We posted a video on our Facebook page of a few "gentlemen," as it were, jumping a very pretty SVT Raptor. Spoiler alert: the Raptor doesn't stay pretty long.
Some of you may know that we here at Stage 3 Motorsports are a little in love with Ford's newest lineup of EcoBoost F150s. The trucks are impressive enough from the factory and throwing on a staggering amount of horsepower and torque to their total outputs is so easy that it's scary.
