It was only a matter of time before someone found something useful to slap into the massive lower bumper "fog light" pockets on the 2017 Raptors, and Baja Designs beat just about everyone to the punch with three 2017 Raptor Fog Light Bucket Systems that add tremendous levels of light output in a clean-looking package. The Baja Designs Sportsmen Kit, Pro Kit, and Unlimited Kit all come with a whopping six Baja Designs off-road LED lights, bolt-on mounting brackets for each fog pocket, and a full set of wiring that ties the lights into two of your Raptor's factory upfitter switches. The three kits each feature different price points and power levels, allowing you to choose the package that's perfect for your 2017 Raptor or application.

In our arrogance, we prayed for snow. The snow gods delivered with gusto.

Flagstaff, Arizona, is a bit strange when it comes to snow. Some years, there's so little that the ski resort doesn't even open. Other years, there's so much snow that it's nigh impossible to get around outside of main roads. This time around, it was the latter, and it wasn't necessarily a disaster, since we came well-prepared with a host of recovery gear. The stars of the show were the MaxTrax Mark II Traction Aids which really helped save our bacon on more than one occasion as we tried (in vain) to make it back to some of our favorite trails in the woods surrounding the San Francisco Peaks.

Every year we make a pilgrimage up to the forests and cinder fields around Flagstaff, Arizona, to stretch all of our current project vehicle's legs while doing real-world (if slightly aggressive) parts testing. Not to mention taking a ton of photos and videos the entire time. This trip was a little more stressful than the last couple of years, with five of our project trucks along for the ride. We had our new to us 2012 Expedition Project Truck, our 2017 F250 6.7L Project Truck, our 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost XLT Project Truck, our 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost Race Red Project Truck, and our 2011 F150 XL Project Truck, all of which had new parts that we needed to thoroughly flog, test, and document along the way. We also brought along our Polaris Sportsman and Ranger, just for kicks. The rewards were well worth the rewards, as you can see from some the images we shot after the jump.
