While the 2010 to 2013 SVT Raptors and their 6.2L V8s can churn out great power and a ton of low-end torque, a little more never really hurt. aFe's Stage 2 series of cold air intakes for the Raptors do just that by throwing on up to 18 extra horsepower and 22 lb-ft of torque without the need for custom tuning or other modifications. Naturally, we jumped at the opportunity to give some extra punch to our Desert Raptor project truck and put together a little installation guide right here for the aFe Stage 2 intake with Pro Guard 7 air filter.

We just listed several different colors and light styles so that you can pick out what's best for your F150.

There's maybe a couple dozen reasons -- none of them all that great -- for why we've kind of been lacking in the aftermarket lighting department as of late. While we could give you a line item list of excuses, we though it would be better to just fix the problem. Our first step it to welcome Oracle Lighting Technologies into our midst. Our second step is add as much of their awesome lighting kits and gear as humanly possible. We already made some headway, but there is much more to be done.

In general, throwing an aFe cold air intake on your F150, SVT Raptor, or Super Duty is an easy process. Making the choice about which kit to actually get is the toughest part. Each one of aFe's cold air intake kits comes with three different options for air filters and each one has a different part number. The real question is which one do you need? Like most of the answers in the performance parts industry, the short answer is "depends". The long answer is, well, kind of long. Today we'll break down all of aFe's air filter options so that you know which kit you need to grab when time comes to update your truck's intake system and get some more power flowing down to your wheels.

Dylan, the newest member of the Stage 3 Motorsports team and resident Graphic/Video designer, happens to have a pretty slick 2000 Mustang GT. While it certainly looks good, you're far more likely to hear this thing coming thanks to its monstrous exhaust roar that's brought to you by a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust kit and a JBA Off-Road H-Pipe. The combination has an old-school, throaty note that can make even the most chiseled Mustang veterans smile. Check out the video right here!

Our good friends over at Edelbrock are turning 75 years old this year, but instead of finally calling it quits and buying a nice beach house in the Bahamas, they're celebrating their milestone by giving a little back to all their fans. From April 11th, 2013, until June 6th, 2013, Edelbrock is offering a $500 rebate on their amazing E-Force Supercharger kits. It's not every day that a genuine Saleen S281 S197 stops by, but when it does happen, we make sure to get a photo or two. What's even more impressive is what this awesome Saleen Mustang is rocking under its hood. Hint: it's something big, mean, and ultra-powerful. Check out our small photo gallery below!

Last we left our 2011 F150 EcoBoost truck, it had just received a Daystar 2" leveling kit for its front end, and before that an aFe Stage 2 intake and 91 octane tune from an Edge CTS tuner and dash monitor. So, our truck is now sitting pretty and rocking pretty close to 500 lb-ft of torque at the crank. Instead of calling it a day, we decided to see how much more we could squeeze out of the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 under the hood of our truck with a little help from an aFe intercooler charge pipe and a BBK 73mm throttle body. No one could really give us a firm answer on fitments -- especially for the throttle body -- and we were a little concerned going in. Turns out we worry too much, and our truck got a nice bump in both horsepower and torque while still leaving some room for even more upgrades.

Everyone should know by now that we're huge fans of Daystar, especially their lineup of Ford truck leveling kits. They are our neighbors, after all, and they do make some of the finest and highest quality leveling kits on the market for virtually everything that may need one. With all that in mind, we decided that the best way to squeeze some 34" tires onto our 2011 F150 EcoBoost Project truck was with Daystar's 2" front leveling kit. We headed over to Extreme Performance for a little help and even managed to learn a thing or two about Daystar's leveling kits -- not all of it good.

We had a little bit of an adventure over to our friends at Extreme Performance again today to throw a few more performance parts onto our 2011 F150 EcoBoost project truck. We chucked on a Daystar 2" leveling kit, BBK 73mm throttle body, and aFe charge pipe and then ran our F150 on Extreme's dyno to see what, if anything would happen. If you haven't been paying much attention to our build, we were running around with an aFe Stage 2 Cold Air intake and a 91 octane performance tune from an Edge CTS tuner and dashboard monitor that already gave us a very impressive 364 horsepower and 447 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Our new upgrades gave us even more impressive numbers.

The S197 Bullitt Mustangs are some cool Ponies, but they can be a little difficult to shop for due to their unique under-hood setup with their unique strut tower brace and inlet tubing. Well, that didn't stop Dana out of Pennsylvania from transforming his 2008 Bullitt into one of the most awesome Mustangs that we're seen in a long, long time. This sweet Bullitt just installed an Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger System and a wicked TruFiber SVT-Style hood that he ordered from Stage 3. More importantly, he sent us some awesome photos that we're more than happy to show off.

If you were on the fence about grabbing an Air Ride Suspension Kit from our friends over at Air Lift, then hopefully this image will make your decision for you. This, ladies and germs, is what a 5.0L Mustang looks like dumped down on an Air Lift air suspension kit, and it is glorious.

First, our Driver Mod April Fool's joke was a huge success and was featured on Autoblog and Topspeed among others. Thanks for all the support and for having a sense of humor! Anyway, back to business.
