We've had ICON's 2015 F150 4WD Stage 2 Suspension System on our 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost Project truck for a couple of weeks now and finally had the opportunity to stretch its legs off-road, and we can now provide a proper comparison between the 2015 F150 Fox 2.0 Stage 1 Package that was on the truck earlier in the year and the ICON Stage 2 System. One the 2009 to 2014 F150s, the differences between the two kits were a little more clear cut, with the changes that both Ford and ICON have made for the 2015 F150s, the line between which kit you ought to choose has become a lot more blurry. However, in the name of science and making choices that much easier for our customers, we here at Stage 3 have tested both systems, and thus feel obligated to list out some of the pros and cons of each so that you can find the suspension system that works best for your very own 2015 F150.

One of the biggest issues we had with the 2015 F150s otherwise stellar good looks was the factory fog lights. The fog lights come with a pretty bland yellow glow, which especially clashes with the 2015 F150s that came with the optional upgraded factory LED headlights that have a bright, white look. Our own 2015 F150 3.5L EcoBoost was suffering from that very same clash of aesthetics, so we upgraded with a set of 2015 F150 LED Fog Lights in the form of Diode Dynamics' 1999-2015 F150 H10 LED Fog Light Conversion Kit. Diode's drop-in LED fog lights are an easy upgrade that makes it a breeze to get a whole new look for your aggressive 2015 F150 build all in one go. Diode Dynamics give you several different options for output to meet your particular lighting needs, look, or budget. Naturally, we went with the brightest XML2s, which are rated at 1420 lumens. Check out the images and install video after the jump for more!

The Stage 3 Motorsports 2014 6.7L F250 "Project Ice Box" Super Duty has already come a long way since we picked up this truck in its completely stock form by adding some awesome performance and exterior upgrades and we've now taken it a step further by throwing on both a Fusion Front Off-Road Bumper and Fusion Rear Off-Road Bumper. We were not only able to ditch the factory chrome for a much better matching fit for the black on white look we're going for, but the toughness level has definitely been bumped up from about a 4 to 12.

Fox's 2.0 Front Coilovers make for one heck of an upgrade on the 2014 F150s, and give your truck up to 2" of extra front ride height along with an excellent street ride and improved off-road performance. Now, the only difference between the 2009 to 2013 Fox 2.0 Coilover Kits and their 2014 versions is the lower mount, which switched over to a par-and-pin configuration from a standard clevis for the 2014 and up model years. Why? Because Ford. Now, usually this isn't a huge issue, but our customer Chris found out that when combined with an incorrect torque value, the bar-and-pin 2014 coilovers can have a bit of issue. More on that later. More importantly, Chris sent us a bunch of excellent images detailing his Fox 2.0 install, the problem he had, and how he solved it. It all worked out in the end, and Chris's truck is looking good sitting on its new coilovers.

Our friends over at Rogue Racing took a little bit of a break from all of their various great and terrible SVT Raptor projects to throw a bone at the Raptor's 2009 to 2014 F150 cousins and have bestowed upon them a 2009 to 2014 F150 Rebel Front Bumper and a 2011 to 2014 F150 EcoBoost Rebel Front Bumper. The key difference between the two is that the EcoBoost version will have vents cut into the skid plate so air can still reach the truck's intercooler. These bumpers look sleek and pretty awesome, and they come standard with a front mounts that can hold a Rigid Industries 40" RDS Light Bar or 40" Radius Bar of your choice to give your truck extremely impressive off-road lighting capability. The bumper comes with a few different options for both its side skins, letting you choose between standard dimpled panels or mesh panels to get the look you want. The Rogue Rebel bumpers pair up extremely well to Rogue's 2009-2014 F150 Revolver Rear Bumper to give you a one-two punch of awesomeness.

One of the best additions you can throw onto the exterior of your 6.7L Super Duty truck, especially if it's been lifted or leveled and equipped with a set of rugged off-road tires, is a set of fender flares. Here at Stage 3, we have some of the most economic and awesome-looking fender flares you'll find on the market and they come from our friends over at Bushwacker. The new 2011-2015 F250/F350 Bushwacker Pocket-Style Fender Flares come custom pre-painted in matching Ford Super Duty colors so now you don't have to go through the whole hassle of having to get them sent off to your local paint shop to get them matched to the right color and have to wait for weeks to get them installed. Instead, it's as simple as ordering your set of (4) and easily bolting them onto your truck without having to waste extra time and money. Considering the high additional costs of getting fender flares custom painted to match your exact Ford paint color, these are a relatively inexpensive and much easier way to get your Super Duty looking more aggressive without having to wait forever for the more aggressive look you're trying to achieve.
