Installed these spacers in about 2 hours on my truck just using the car supplied jack. Simple install. Two notes though. 1) Make sure you have a 3/4 socket that is extra deep and 2) make sure to have blue loctite. 1.5 is the perfect amount of spacing on my 2015 Lariat with the 20 PVD wheels and 275/65/20 Ko2s.

Spacers looked very high quality and 1.5 inches was perfect for having your tires sit flush with the fenders. Install was pretty easy if you have a impact and torque wrench I also added a couple drops of blue loctite for extra safety

I installed the 1.5 spacers on my 2016 F150 and love how they turned out, they gave it a nice stance with the stock 18. The fit and finish on these spacers are awesome. Just as and extra safety measure I added one drop of red loctite to each lug to mount the spacer and torqued them down. When I install my 6 lift and 22x12 I may run these as well if there is not too much rubbing.

Best spacers on the market. Price is a little high but this is the best site to get them. Quality - you get what you pay for. 1.5" was perfect fit for my truck. I'm running Nitto Terra Grappler G2 (LT275/70R18 (33”)) and the 1.5" lines the edge of the tread up exactly at the outside edge of the wheel well.

I did a bunch of research on different brands, decided to spend a bit more money after a friend bought a cheaper set. I chose the 1.5”. Very happy with the quality compared to what I saw from my friend’s set. The 1.5” is a good look, not too aggressive.

Love the look. Currently have the stock Dynapro’s on the 20” sport dark alloy wheels that come on the newer F150’s. Took a while to get completed. Just a FYI, because I’ve seen it on forums when I’ve done research, it does NOT say anywhere on the instructions that came with the spacers “if you use locktite it voids the warranty”. I did not use locktite myself, because it doesn’t say in the instructions to use locktite. Overall I love the look. Pictures don’t do justice.

Customer Question I have a 2025 Ford f150 Raptor with the 37 package. Would using a 1.5-inch Bora spacer cause any issues, interference, or rubbing? And would it fit properly with the factory setup, or do I need to add anything else? and what the torque need?

Asked by: Ali - 9/27/2025
Customer Answer These can be used on a 2025 F150 Raptor trim with no issues. As far as clearance goes, with stock wheels you should not have much of an issue, but they will add track width so they will be sticking out 1.5" wider than they are now. Bora recommends torquing the wheels to the factory 150 lb ft.

Asked by: RF - 9/10/2023
Customer Answer These will bolt up to those wheels no problem even at stock height. If you questions is in regards to rubbing, the tire width is going to be the real determining factor if you have any rub. Give us a call at the sales line and we can go over your setup and let you have a better idea of what you can expect. 623.434.5277

Customer Question I’ve got a 2016 KR 3.5l Eco w/ 4” RC lift, 325/50r22 (3,800+ml) Toyo OC m/t, 22” Lexani Lust’s w/ slight more offset than stock. What’s the max bumper pull and gooseneck tow ratings for these? Multiple days a week I pull a 24ft GN Cattle Tlr, and a 24ft GN Flatbed w/ 15k lbs GTW. I also bumper pull 10k lbs GTW pretty often. I wanted to get an idea of what I can tow before I ordered them. If you are wondering, I don’t get on a highway pulling over 10k with my 1/2Ton. Also, if my tires end up rubbing, it’ll be in the rear inside corners, and I’ll just cut out whatever is rubbing.

Asked by: JKBrows101 - 12/16/2022
Customer Answer In general, if these wheel spacers are installed correctly, you can tow up to your GVWR or GCWR without issues. Beyond that, there's no guarantees. Personally, I would not tow with spacers at all. Adding another non-OEM point of failure to a towing setup pulling a lot of expensive hardware is iffy to me, but the spacers can do it, and I have not heard or seen catastrophic failures of BORA spacers before.

Customer Question Cam these be used if you tow? I tow a 9K lbs trailer with about 650 lbs of gear in the bed. Seems it would put a lot of stress on the stock studs and cause premature wear to suspension. 2017 fx4 with Icon Compression 18x9 rims, 285-70 nittos, Icon 2.5 coilovers at max height (2.63) and BDS uca's.

Asked by: Jeff Denson - 9/17/2021
Customer Answer Technically, you could tow with these wheel spacers. That being said, I personally probably wouldn't. Adding another potential point of failure when towing that heavy (and that expensive) probably isn't great. If you're looking for more offset, your better bet would be a new set of wheels in a heavy towing application.

Asked by: Stephen Androlevich - 4/18/2021
Customer Answer It's hard to say at only 1.4" of lift, though you'll probably be fine with that combination at the Eibach kit's full ride height. At the 1.4", you may have a smidge of rub, though that can probably be solved by minor amounts of trimming.

Customer Question 2017 special edition FX4 3” Halo Lift Stock SE 20” rims 275/65r20 (34” tire) Will adding these cause rub? I want to sit flush with wheel well after Lift is installed.

Asked by: RPM - 9/9/2020
Customer Answer With a fairly narrow tire like that, you'd probably be okay during normal street driving. However, you'd likely get some rub when turning full lock and articulating at the same time (turning hard up a curb, for instance), but especially off-road. You shouldn't need more than minor valance trimming to fix the issue, though.

Customer Question What is the difference between these and the FactionFab spacers, why would I choose one over the other? I also hear a lot about being HubCentric - what’s that? Thanks!

Asked by: WillyMN - 8/13/2020
Customer Answer There's not a huge difference design-wise. Both are CNC machined billet aluminum spacers with hardened steel studs. The only major difference is that BORA is made in the USA and FactionFab's spacers are made in Taiwan.

Answer provided by: Jason@Stage3 (8/14/2020)
Customer Answer As far as hubcentric vs. lugcentric, both terms refer to the way a wheel (or spacer) center themselves onto the truck's rotor. On a hubcenter wheel/spacer, the hub bore of the wheel/spacer is the exact same as the truck's hub, which gives it a better fit and easier alignment of the studs and lug nuts, while also not leaving the lug nuts to hold load. On a lugcentric wheel/spacer, the hub bore is usually different than truck, meaning that the lugs are responsible for centering the wheel and bearing load. It's arguable on 1/2 trucks about whether one or the other makes a huge difference, but in any case, these spacers are hubcentric and use an 87.1mm hub bore.

Asked by: Jrack - 12/3/2019
Customer Answer The biggest you'd probably want to go is a 1.25" spacer, and even then, a set of 1.00" spacers will probably get you closer to where you want be. However, 1.00" spacers require stud trimming.

Customer Question 2017 F150 Platinum with stock Platinum 20" rims, with 275/60/R20 Falken Wildpeak, Bilstein's set on 1.25 in the front, Bilsteins in the rear as well. Rubbing issues with either the 1.5" BORA'S, or maybe 1.25" BORA'S?

Asked by: Play'nSnooky - 12/2/2019
Customer Answer As long as you're going to reuse those tires, you should be fine. You may see a hint of rub if you're articulating and turning at the same time. To avoid that, you might want to consider taking your Bilsteins up a bit higher.

Customer Question Lug nut torque spec on the 15+ f150 is 150ft/lbs. Will the studs hold up to that and then some for the added stress of the wider stance? And is it recommended to torque the spacers to the hub at lug nut spec or a different spec?

Asked by: Christian Hancy - 11/28/2019
Customer Answer BORA calls for torquing the spacers to stock 150lb-ft at both the hub and the wheel. The studs are made from quality steel, and you should not have an issue given a proper installation and torque specs.

Customer Question I want to know what are the biggest spacers I can run without any rubbing and scrubbing issues. Im leaning on 1.5” but really want 1.75” if I can. Here are my truck stats: 2016 F150 RWD Stock 20” rims with stock tires 275/55/r20 1.5” drop shackle in the rear. Im not upgrading anything else. I just want to know how big I can go with spacers with no issues. Thanks.

Asked by: Noel - 7/28/2019
Customer Answer If you're at factory ride height, you should be able to clear just fine with this 1.50" spacer. You'd likely get a hint of rub with a 1.75" or 2" spacer when turning and going over bumps, but if you're willing to to a little valance trimming, you should be good, since the tire's neither all that tall nor wide.

Customer Question I have a '16 Ford F-150 Sport with the upgraded OEM 20" 6-Spoke Premium Painted Aluminum wheels. I am trying to get the aggressive look of an aftermarket 20x10 wheel and from what I've gathered, these Ford wheels are 20x8.5. I am looking to put a set of 305/55-20 BFGOODRICH ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 or TOYO OPEN COUNTRY R/T tires on the OEM wheel, so in order order to get the look of an aftermarket 20x10 wheel, does this mean that I would have to get 1.5" spacers to mount the OEM wheels a bit further out, compensating for the 8.5" wheel width and bringing it to a 10"?

Asked by: Chris - 5/7/2019
Customer Answer You're not going to get the exact look of a 20x10" wheel, due to 20x10s typically having a "deep-dish" look, not to mention 20x10" wheels (like any wheel) can have several different appearances depending on their offsets and designs. The stock wheels have 6.5" of backspace, and these spacers effectively decrease that backspace by 1.5", which would put your general stance on par with a 20x10" wheel with a -24mm offset. You'll likely need at least a 2" leveling kit to clear a 305/55R20, unless you already have one.

Asked by: Cory C - 8/20/2018

Customer Answer If your current wheel and tire combination is about even with your wheel well lip, then in theory, adding a 1.5" spacer will make them even with the Bushwacker Pocket-Style Fender Flares since the flares add 1.5" of tire coverage.

I'm considering purchasing a lift kit or the Rogue Racing bumper that you have installed on the '15 ecoboost. Would the bumper be enough to fix the rubbing or would I need a lift kit as well? If so, would I need to go with a 6" or would a 4" work?

Asked by: Austin - 5/15/2018
Customer Answer That's going to depend on where exactly you're rubbing. If you're only getting some slight rub on the front balance, than just about any aftermarket bumper will give you the spare clearance you need, and you likely don't need a complete lift kit.

Customer Question With the 1.5" spacer and a 2" leveling kit will I have any issues with the tires rubbing on the fender wells? I am running stock 20" wheels and 275/60/20 Duratracks. Also, will this add additional stress to the front suspension that would result in premature wear?

Asked by: Dan - 2/21/2017
Customer Answer You may get some rub when you're fully articulated while turning off-road, but you shouldn't rub under normal street driving conditions. The wheel spacers don't really add stress to the front suspension, other than increasing unsprung weight by a slight margin (though it's about the same as putting a larger tire on, so it's pretty negligible). Your potential leveling kit will throw off your truck's UCA, CV, LCA, and tie rod angles to some extent, but in our experience, leveling systems under 3" don't tend to overly shorten these truck's suspension components' lifespans.
