Coilover Bypass Lift System for Impressive Off-Road Capability

The Carli 4.5" Coilover Bypass Lift System is one of their most capable off-road systems, featuring a similar street ride as the Coilover and Pintop systems with seemingly no bottom. For those unfamiliar, a bypass shock has external tubes with one-way check valves that are fully adjustable to allow user to tailor the amount of fluid that bypasses the valving, providing tunable progression to the shock which makes it the perfect dual purpose setup. Opening the bypass valves allows more fluid through the tubes, resulting in reduced damping force and softer suspension feel for the highways. Closing the valves restricts fluid flow through the tubes, increasing the damping force and providing a firmer suspension setup for any off-road applications. This coilover bypass system even boasts Carli specific, tuned King 2.5 Shocks on all four corners, featuring a custom piston to ensure the coilovers and shocks work well with the heavy-duty truck platform. You'll also notice the external reservoirs which allow for an increase in fluid capacity, providing more efficient heat dissipation when you're out pushing things to the limit. Your truck will also sit 4.5" higher in the front and achieve more wheel travel thanks to the coilover conversion brackets and reservoir mounts.

Wheel & Tire Fitment: Factory Wheels should not be run with Oversized Tires. Carli recommends 17"-18" wheels, no more than 9" wide with 4.5-5" of backspacing. 37" E-Rated Tires will fit.

Application Notes:

• If subjected to inclement weather for extended periods, Carli recommends wrapping your shocks in 3M to provide a moisture barrier thatÂ’s replaceable.
• At this level of suspension, a roll cage is also recommended if the system will be used to its full potential.
• From Carli, these shocks are setup with a wide open rebound and neutral compression (our recommended, all around specification).
