I install these into anzo headlights while the Anzos were being installed so I'm not sure of the install time I believe you pull down your inner Fender to install. The white light they give off is very bright compared to the Anzo's daytime running lamp at first I thought it was too bright but then after seeing Honda CRVs those are very bright also so these are very nice running lights. I performed no wiring modifications I used forscan to eliminate hyperlink on my Dash. I am very happy with the outcome of the lights and the Amber matches the anzo switchbacks nicely

I'm very happy with these switchback turn signals. They work great with the resistors. Light is very bright for both turn signal and day time running light. Install was a pain having to remove the headlight but worth it in the end. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

The turn signals are much brighter as well as the pure white running lights are very bright. Matches my other diode Dynamics led low/high beam also don't take your headlights out just pull back the inner wheelwell so much quicker

This switchback added a huge increase in customization to my truck, they are very bright and match Putco 6000 color LED fog lights perfectly. The construction is very well made, I'm very happy with all the Dynamic Diode LED's I have installed. Watch the videos for headlight part removal sequence... did need the resistors.

Customer Question Will this signal LED also work in the Alpha Rex Nova series light. P/N 880182

Customer Answer They will not. The Nova series does not use a traditional bulb for the turn signals at all. They use LED outlines and strips.

Customer Question Will the daytime running light be a pretty close match to the Diode SL1 LED Low beam bulbs?

Customer Answer They'll be close. The switchback's running light function has a 6000K color temperature, while the SL1s are at a 5700K color temperature. That would be a less than a full shade of difference in overall color.

Customer Question What type of wiring harness will workin for these on a 2018 f150? Do I just need regular transistors?

Customer Answer These switchback turn signal bulbs work just fine with the truck's factory body harness. However, you will need 50-watt. 6ohm resistors in order to avoid hyperflash. Diode Dyanmic's resistor kit is available from our drop-down menu.
