Features Amber Turn Signals with White Parking Light Functions

Everyone wants to make their aggressive 1997 to 2014 F150 stand out from the crowd, and one of the best ways to make that happen is by swapping out your boring and low-power incandescent turn signal bulbs with this pair of LED Switchback from our friends over at Diode Dynamics. Diode Dynamic's Switchback LED Turn Signal Bulbs feature 16 amber and 8 white LED diodes which allows the bulb to flash amber when you hit your turn signals, but is white when just being used as a parking light. The end result is an extremely unique look for your custom 2013 to 2014 F150 build that just can't be matched by the rest of the herd. This pair of complete LED bulbs drops right into place of your F150's stock turn signal bulbs, and are available in several color temperature options for the parking lights so that you can fine-tune your look.

Much Brighter than Stock with a Durable, Reliable Design

Just like Diode Dynamic's other high-quality LEDs, their switchback front turn signal bulbs are built tough so that they won't let you or your truck down. Dubbed the HP24 series by Diode Dynamics, the Switchbacks have 16 amber LEDs and 8 white LEDs housed on an aluminum body. The white LEDs are available with options for 4000K, 5000K, or 6000K color temperatures to help you match your switchbacks to your other lighting components, including HID Kits, halo systems, or custom headlight LED strips. The switchbacks output an extremely impressive 410 raw lumens of light, which makes them considerably brighter than your standard factory turn signal bulbs for a great look. The switchbacks come backed by an impressive 3-year limited warranty from Diode Dynamics and are designed to drop right into place of your stock turn signal bulbs without modifications.

White Parking Light Only: the white light color only comes on with your F150's parking lights and does not have true daytime running light (DRL) functionality.

Hyperblink Resistor Kit: when installed alone, these LED turn signal bulbs will cause your turn signals to blink much faster than stock, due to the change in voltage. In order to fix the issue, you'll need Diode Dynamic's optional Resistor Kit which is available from our drop-down menu above.

2014 F-150

So here's the good and the bad. On the 2013 and 14 F-150's with the factory HID lights, if you have the daytime running lamp function turned on, it uses the park lamp/turn signal light as the daytime lights instead of the actual headlamps. These switchback bulbs do not work if the daytime running lamp function on your truck is turned on. They do as described in the below review and flicker or strobe back and forth when in gear between white and yellow like some kind of emergency vehicle because it is confusing the bulbs and it doesn't know what to do so to speak. If you turn the daytime lamp function off, ( the Ford dealer has to do this) then they work as designed. So the good news is that they will work on the 13 and 14's and are pretty cool. The bad news is you can not have daytime running lamps. It would be cool if somehow, and make sense that the white light could serve as the daytime lamp bulbs but unfortunately no, it does not work like that. Diode Dynamics do make a good produce, I run their bulb in the fog lights and HID lights with no issues but they do fall a little short on this one. I feel like they or Stage 3 should explain this in the description somewhere in the add so people can be informed on and be fully aware of what to expect. Not going for a 1 star because I still like them and they do work but not all the way 5 on this one, sorry guys. Hope all that made sense.

F-150

Super easy to install with resistor kit. Switchback blue was a lot brighter than I imagined, looks awesome at night. The turn singles are much brighter as well.

2014 F150 Fx4

Lights do not stay white while truck is in gear. Lights will only stay white with truck in park, headlights also on, or parking lights on. They haphazardly flash orange while the truck is running to extent of looking like a road crew worker. Turn signals also flash irregular have hyper flash disabled previous leds worked just fine. Spoke with diode dynamics they know these problems exist on the 13 and 14 years. Do not reccomend these lights

They will not. The white color function only works with your truck's parking lights. To make them work as true DRLs, you'd need to do some custom wiring or use ForScan to program your parking lights as DRLs.

The light's white function only comes on with the Parking Lights. To have them function as true DRLs, you would need to custom wire them or use ForScan to reprogram the parking lights to stay on as DRLs.
