2019 Ford Ranger

My stock fog lamps were in need of replacement due to a deer deciding it need to be tenderized. Fortunately the damage was only to the driver fog lamp and its corresponding bracket. As a result i needed to remove my bumper to fix broken pieces and install these lights despite the consensus that its not necessary. When installing set the lights as deep into the bracket as possible so you have room for adjustment. My adjustment is probably a little too high but the light output is phenomenal! I can see so dang much compared to before even on dark wet roads. Thankfully the color of the light reduces the possibility of blinding oncoming traffic and I only use the fogs when the weather warrants it. The headlights they're underneath in these pictures are the stock lariat headlights on my XLT. If you have the ability to get these lights I'd highly recommend them. Installation wasn't bad and I can't wait to see how they hold up. My one and only complaint is the adapter doesn't fit as well into the OE plug as the oem fog lamps did. It's petty but it's literally my only complaint. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope it helps your decision either way.

2020 Ford Ranger

I considered BD SAE fog but the beam pattern was too narrow for my need. The Diode Dynamics Pro fog in yellow was the ticket. It has a very wide pattern and the output is fantastic. They will light up the ditch and in front of the truck up to the low beams, just what I was looking for. The only knock I have so far is the mounting bracket in plastic, it's hard to tighten the screws holding the light. So far the light hasn't moved but a nice stainless steel bracket wound have been nice.

2020 Ranger XLT FX4

Not gonna lie - getting everything out of the way for good access to the fog lights in order to do this swap was a bitch. But that is just the way the front end of the Ranger is put together and has nothing to do with this product. Once you get in there, the swap itself is simple, the light pod and bracket fits perfectly and the wiring adapter is heavy duty and has a nice solid weatherproof connector. BUT, as the instructions warn, you may need to flip the connection (it is universal and can be plugged in upside down) so make sure you TEST the light BEFORE putting everything back together! Once installed these lights make an enormous difference in nighttime driving. On or off road it is a night and day difference compared to the stock fog lights. Haven't had any actual fog yet but whether on the highway or on dark unlit dirt roads they have been pretty damn amazing. As much of a PITA as getting in there for the swap was, I'm very glad i did it and would def recommend the swap to friends who arent afraid of spending a day in the driveway ?scraping up their forearms a little bit

2019 Ranger

These lights are a HUGE upgrade from the oem Lariat led fog lights. Pricey but worth it. Just be prepared a total pain to installwith crashbars in place.

2019 Ford Ranger

Definitely worth the price. You will not be disappointed. Big improvement over factory fog lights. As other reviewers said these will project far and wide. Stage3 has fair prices and you can actually call them and speak with someone who will help you make the correct choice. Installation will require removing the intrusion bars. I already replaced them with aftermarket ones (purchased on Stage3) so not that big a deal, but if you still have the factory ones, not so easy. Other than that these are plug and play.
