Customer Question I'm planning on attaching this to the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger SPD Over-Axle Dual Dump Cat-Back Exhaust Kit CB23R1920-ADF. I'm assuming I will need the 3" adapter?

Customer Answer Yes, SPD exhaust is a 3" system so you would need the 3" adapter.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2023 Ranger Lariat 4x4 SuperCrew? It says in the title 2019-2023 in the product name, but then the description says it does not fit 2022 Rangers.

Customer Question What downpipe adapter would I need to retrofit with a "2019-2022 Ford Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost Roush Dual Exit Cat-Back Exhaust Kit 422179"? Would it be the 3" cat-back adapter?

Customer Answer You would not need the 3" adapter. The Roush cat-back necks down to meet the stock downpipe's diameter. The only reason you'd use the 3" adapter is if you're getting custom work done to get a true 3" system.

Customer Question 2019- Ford Ranger 2.3L Ecoboost I’m sure y’all know about Borla’s S Type exhaust for the 2.3 Ecoboost 19-21 Ranger, but the SPD Stainless steel Downpipe options a Factory 2.5 exit and a true 3 inch exit, I have a Borla S type but the exhaust setup is 2 piece and has muffler and tailpipe changed out but keeps the factory piping from the inlet of the Borla muffler all the back to the stock downpipe, do I choose the 2.5 exit because of the piping or the 3 inch for my exhaust, Let me know what y’all think. Sorry if I sound confusing

Customer Answer You would need to choose the 2.5" option in order to meet the Borla kit at its proper point. In theory, you could get a 3" diameter extension and use it on the Borla system to then use the 3" downpipe option, but you would have to figure out measurements and such.

Customer Question How come on this down pipe it states that it is not street legal and for only off-road use but on the SPD website of this exact part number it states they use EPA 400 CPSI catalytic converters EPA certified? Same product but two different descriptions?

Customer Answer SPD did recently update these downpipes with EPA-approved cats. However, those cats are still not street-legal in CARB states/areas. We have updated our listing.
