I am happy with the product. Rides well, not as stable as stock under turning it seems like. Professionally installed. WIth 29.9 inch P275/60/20 it has a better stance but I would not call it level , still has a little rake, still have slight rubbing while reversing on incline. Better seating/viewing position in driver's seat. Truck feels higher from front seat POV, and the rear view mirror is more usable now. I wish i had seen Jason's answer to the question below before I purchased, becuase i would rather have a true 2.5 level. Even side by side to stock F150 4x4, the difference is not very noticable. Does not look like a lifted overall, but can tell there is more air under the front bumper and wheel well gap. One annoying thing on my truck is that the front wheels are not centered on the wheel well after kit installed, tire is slightly closer to the rear section.

I payed to have this installed. was about an hour. looks good the CV axle angle is changed a bit. as well as the UCA angle, other than that it looks nice. Needed a adjust the tow on the alignment other than that has been on for about a month and truck seems to run smoother, with less shutter as well (4 starts as no product is a 5 in my opinion)

This level kit is very good quality and holds up great in the truck. The spacer itself is a little under an inch but once it's in the truck it lifts the front end exactly 2. During the install on my truck, following the instructions, my strut would not come out of the strut tower so I had to take out the strut completely using a 30mm deep socket and a breaker bar to remove the strut itself. Truck definitely looks and stands a lot better now with the 2 spacer in it. Truck rides the same as it did stock and don't notice any difference in ride quality. I highly recommend this part.

Day star makes a great product, have installed two of there kits on super duties. This is the first kit I installed on my personal vehicle. It's a little time consuming but I took my time, the truck rides better then it did stock with this kit. I am very impressed and would recommend it.

Just what my front end needed to fit my 295/60/20 tires. Great look, not perfectly level but was the look I was trying to achieve. Thanks Stage3 for the great customer service as well! Will be back for more products in the future!

Install was straight forward. Did have to remove the strut assy but it came right out and popped back in very easily with a prybar. Ended up with a 1/2 rake front to back.

Customer Question I have a 2010 F150 XLT 4wd. I drive primarily on the street. Will the Daystar 2" level kit cause the ball joints to wear out quicker than normal?

Asked by: Dee - 10/19/2018
Customer Answer Technically, this kit does throw off your suspension geometry, which, in theory, causes more wear on your UCA ball joints and other suspension components. However, in practice, you probably won't ever have an issue with your ball joints or suspension when using a 2" leveling kit outside of normal wear.

Customer Question Hey there, I have a 2016 f150 with the stock 20" sport wheels. I am wanting to put 305/55R20 tires on my truck. I am thinking the Duratrac or the Toyo open country a/tII AW. Do you know if they will fit without rubbing with this leveling kit?

Asked by: Tyler - 7/24/2018
Customer Answer You should be fine during normal street driving, though you'll likely see a bit of rub when start articulating and turning on rougher roads/terrain.

Customer Question Duno if this is a stupid question but it's my first f150 I bout and I ordered the 2 inch leveling kit it came with 2 one inch spacers. Now I would think it should've come with two two inches spacers to go in each side to raise it two inches both sides. Did I just buy it for one side of the truck?

Asked by: Ryan Zarshenas - 6/29/2016
Customer Answer Not a stupid question at all, it's a common misconception. The spacers give your truck 2" of front lift, however, your truck's front-end suspension geometry works on a ratio, so to achieve a 2" lift, you don't actually need a 2" thick spacer. In the case of the Daystar Kit, their 1" spacer is enough to achieve a 2" front lift.

Customer Question Wanting to know if this 2" level could accommodate a 275/65/20 sized tire on stock lariat wheels without rubbing?

Asked by: Ian - 4/24/2016
Customer Answer You would likely get some amount of rub on your truck's air dam, valance, and the rear fender flare with that size tire. In general, we recommend using a maximum of a 33x11.50" (or close metric equivalent) tire with a 2" leveling kit.

Customer Question I recently purchased a 2015 F-150 Sport Crew Cab 2WD and I want to level the front end. I wanted to ask with regard to what would be the best application to reduce the rake but keep my ride quality the same as much as possible. I noticed with the spacer kits there are options all the way up to 2.5 inches of lift, while I want it to have a level look I want to keep the ride quality as much as possible, would it be better to go with 2.0 inches of lift option? I wanted the fox 2.0 coilover kit but I see that its only available for 4wd, that means it will not work for my application right? I was leaning toward the Daystar spacer kit but I'm not altogether sure yet, in the past I've had metal spacer kits amd didnt like how they affected the ride quality, are the daystars any better due to the urethane construction? Your help is greatly appreciated in advance!

Asked by: Jason - 10/29/2015
Customer Answer The Daystar kit will keep your ride quality pretty close to stock, thanks to its polyurethane construction. The only issue with the Daystar system is that you'll likely need to trim the studs on your truck's upper strut mount to get them to fit properly. As far as the Fox 2.0s are concerned, the kit for the 4WD F150s will technically fit your truck, you'll just get more lift than what they're rated for on the 4WD F150s. To counteract that, you can simply get the Fox 2.0 spanner wrench and back them back down so that you don't get any rear rake. In all honesty, none of the spacer kits that we have are going to overly hurt ride quality. The only issue you'll really run into is spring contact when you go full droop on most leveling kits, except for Auto Spring.

Customer Question I have a 2014 f150 xlt with stock 18s and a 2.5 leveling kit...I attempted to install a 12.50 wide tire which I discovered was way to wide...what's the widest tire I can run with my stock rims?

Asked by: cwillie - 10/16/2015
Customer Answer In general, around a 295 (11.6") tire, though it also depends on the height of the tire. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can be more specific with what you're trying to do.

Customer Question I have a 2014 Ford F-150 fx4 with 20 inch wheels with 275/55r20. I am wanting to buy still 20 inch wheels black Mb wheels tko. I am thinking of ordering the more studded Goodyear Duratrac tire (same size). Would you recommend I get a bigger tire and adding a level kit of some sort? I like the look without adding a level kit as I seen it on a f150 Xlt with the same wheel and tire size. Looking for some guidance on what is the best way

Asked by: Dane - 8/3/2015
Customer Answer It really depends on how big you want to go with your tires and what the width, offset, and backspacing of your new wheels are going to be in regards to whether or not you'll need to do a leveling kit. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific about your wheel and tire choice.

Customer Question I have a 2014 F1 50 crew cab 6 1/2 foot box and the front of my truck is lower than the rear I want to just bring a dead level and possibly put a set of 18 inch wheels and tires on there what kit is the best for me to use I would like to have aluminum spacers if possible instead of polyurethane. What will be the best kid to go with to get these results?

Asked by: Chris - 3/17/2015
Customer Answer Getting a 100%, dead-level stance does depend somewhat on how many miles you put through your truck as the front suspension does need a bit of time to break-in and sag. While a 2" leveling kit can actually be level on a fairly a new truck, most F150s won't be totally level unless they use a 2.5" leveling kit, especially over time. Some of the more popular spacer leveling kits as of late are Auto Spring's systems which have an offset design that helps avoid UCA contact, though they aren't aluminum. Their 2.5" kit is right here. If you're dead set on a 2" aluminum space kit, then your should check out ReadyLift's T6 Spacers.

Customer Question Does this kit work on the 2014 STX 4X4? Wanted to ask because of the different front strut on 13 vs 14 models.

Asked by: John E - 1/17/2015
Customer Answer Daystar's Leveling Kit will work on the 2014 F150s. The strut difference between the 2013 and 2014 model years was only in regards to the lower mount on the LCA. The upper mount did not change significantly.

Customer Question I have a 2009 ford f150 xlt 4x4 supercrew. I am looking for a leveling kit that will level the front with the rear without adding rear blocks, My plan is to run good year duratrac tires 275 r65 18. What kit should I use to achieve this?

Asked by: Dan - 11/26/2014
Customer Answer This kit could work just fine. However, on older trucks with a decent amount of miles, you may need to go with a 2.5" leveling kit to get a totally leveled look. Your best bet it to measure the difference between your front and rear ride heights to see what size leveling spacer you'll need.

Customer Question I have a 2014 2wd stx sport f150. Super crew four door. Short bed I want to get a leveling kit for the front, but there are 1.5, 2, and 2.5 inch. Which one would would be most effective to sit the truck level? A lot of stuff I find talks about the 4wd models.

Asked by: Ben F150 - 2/24/2014
Customer Answer If you want a 100%, dead-level stance, then a 2.5" leveling kit is a better option. 2" kits are more common just due to the fact they give you just enough room for 33" tires while reducing rake. 2.5" leveling kits provide an actual, leveled stance.
