The rear tailgate on your Super Duty truck isn't the lightest thing in the world and its tendency to slam down when opened can be a major safety concern. Thankfully, the good people over at Dee Zee have come to our rescue with this Tailgate Assist. With this super inexpensive and easy to install gas-charged strut assembly, your rear tailgate will now come down as gently as though you're getting a helping hand. The DeeZee Super Duty Tailgate Assist System is a gas-charged strut assembly that slows the fall of your tailgate whenever you pop it open, bringing it to a slow steady stop without you needing to hold onto it.

Easy Installation

The kit includes (1) Tailgate Assist that installs on the driver side only. It's incredibly easy to install and allows you to retain your truck's factory tailgate cables. The DeeZee tailgate assist comes with all its necessary installation hardware and instructions.
