Factory shocks were shot so anything would've been an upgrade. But these really tamed the road and rough railroad crossings. The wife sat in the back seat to test these, with the old shocks it was like riding a wooden wheel wagon back there and she gave these a 10/10. I also really like the polished look and the fact they are made in the USA is a huge plus for me.

After only 3 years and 17,000 miles the driver side rear shock exploded. Happened going over a speed table at 25mph. Rear end has a 1.5” lift

Customer Question The product features says able to handle an additional inch of ride height and 2-3 lines lower says they can handle up to 1.5" lift. Which is correct? Any issue with stock height?

Asked by: Justin - 1/26/2021
Customer Answer This shock can handle up to 1.5" of rear lift, though it will work fine at a 0" factory ride height.

Customer Question I have 5100s on my Jeep JK. A bit on the firm side. Are the eibachs as firm as the 5100s or softer? Pretty sure fox 2.0 would be too stiff for an stock 2019 fx4. Hardly any off road driving .

Asked by: BRT - 10/8/2019
Customer Answer The Eibachs and Bilstein 5100s have similar ride, though the ride is much different from a Jeep due to the weight of the F150s and the different valving.

Customer Question I have a 6in rough country lift. Can these be used in conjunction?

Asked by: JP - 3/17/2018
Customer Answer They cannot. This shock is not long enough to be use with a 6" lift kit in a standalone application. Your better bet would be the BDS Fox 2.0 for 6" Lift Kits.

Asked by: Jim - 1/9/2018
