I got additional coil spring and added 2.75'. The ride is stiff, but very controlled. So far I like the kit a lot. I do a ton of off roading and am impressed by the kit.

Initially installed these with the eibach springs but had extremely stiff ride and 3.75 inches of lift. All part numbers and pictures of install were confirmed by eibach including perch on the lowest setting but they could not explain why it had to much lift. Had to reinstall OEM springs on eibach struts which rides slightly better than stock but still sits a inch higher than it should. Wasted over $500 on springs and tearing apart struts twice and I can't even get a refund. Don't waste your money with eibach.

I installed the Eibach struts along with thier springs. These were replacing my old 2.5" spacers. All I can say is WOW. Never thought these would ride as nice as they do. Close to stock ride but way more under control. No nose dive on hard braking. They provide the 2.7" of lift they say. I have 3" blocks in the rear of my truck and I'm 7/8" higher in rear. Perfect as I tow from time to time. I already had the Bilstein 5100's in the rear. I will probably give the Eibach rear shocks a try as great of experience as I've had with their front system. A++

Bought these cause they were cheaper than the others offers. But I am very happily satisfied customer. Also Made in USA. Front suspension feels better than stock ride or any other shocks I’ve installed, very firm ride. Better road feel on the highway. Would highly recommend eibach or the Bilstein. Only problem is rear end bounces around and jiggles. Gonna be replacing rears with eibach soon. Not cheaply made “USA made”

I installed these on my wife’s 2019 and my 2020 F-150 4x4. They are great struts. Slightly stiffer than factory but still very comfortable. Nice leveled look. I would purchase these again.

These leveled struts were exactly what I wanted when I looked into obtaining more ground clearance and a leveled look with my F-150. After weeks of deliberating I couldn’t be happier that I went with Eibach. The construction, quality, and absolutely perfect ride these struts give nearly rivals that of my girlfriends 2020 Ford Raptor. Off-road the stiffer than stock damping and rebound controls the the jarring motion of the truck and keeps the suspension from bottoming. On the road the truck does not pitch nor roll as it used to and is much more controllable in all situations. I paired them with a set of Camburg Uniball UCA’s and the increased travel even when airborne makes for a soft landing. Now all I ever notice is how terrible the rear shocks are from factory.

Bilsteins 5100 were on backorder forever everywhere so I Purchased these front and back eibach springs from stage 3 awesome service as usual. Installed on my 2020 wow! The ride is wayyyyy better than stock the rear doesn’t bounce around anymore, and the front levels out at 2”, rides much better than stock. FYI the rears don’t come compressed so they were kinda a pain to compress to install vs bilsteins but overall as good as if not better than bilstein 5100 series. Installed on my 2020 3.5 eco boost at 500 miles sitting on 33” 275 65 20 cooper ht plus tires , and eibach set at 2” in front, leveled truck out nicely, with a 1/2 rake maybe. Headlights are blackout led types for around $400 on eBay with sea light 6k leds better than stock IMO also

I used these on my 2014 F150 with a 5.0L. After replacing the stock struts that was shot at 50K, these are an excellent upgrade. I've seen mixed reviews and these are harsh/ way more firm than stock, and I disagree. They soak-up bumps better and prevent nose dive while braking. I used these with the factory OEM springs and couldn't be happier. I took the stock struts out with a 2.5" spacer and set these to the max setting and I cannot tell a difference in ride height. My 35's still fit with no rubbing.

Customer Question Can these be installed on a 2021 Ford Expedition, 4x4? If so, what ring setting should one use to achieve a level stance?

Asked by: Sam - 2/5/2025
Customer Answer Eibach does not list these as working on an Expedition, and in most cases with previous expedition models, the F150 struts don't typically work. The only thing they have ever shared in common was the upper control arm, but that is not confirmed on the 2021 models either.

Customer Question I have a 22 f150 fx4 with the max tow package. If I use the Eibach shocks with the springs, will it still make the truck nose high? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the max tow package rides higher in the rear from the factory. Also, are the coilovers an improvement over the adjustable shock w/ springs?

Asked by: Frank - 5/20/2024
Customer Answer Due to the shorter suspension heights from factory, a 2021+ F150 with most engine combinations will see closer to 3" of lift if using the springs in combination with the leveling struts. Heavier engine combos like the 5.0 or powerboost will see less than the 3" height so it really depends what engine combo you currently have. Some of the max tow packages do have more than the typical 2" of rake so it's always best to take measurements prior so you know how much rake you are working with. Give our sales team a call for further help in picking the right parts.

Customer Question Can any other leveling or lifting spacer be used with this on 2014 f150 4x4 ?

Asked by: Steve - 7/31/2022
Customer Answer You could potentially use a leveling spacer with these struts, however, we do not recommend going beyond 3" of total lift, and we strongly recommend using an aftermarket UCA beyond 2.5" of front lift.

Customer Question I have a 2014 stock F150. I am looking to replace my OEM front with these or the Bilstein 5100. I seem to have about a 2.5" factory rake. Would I be able to set these somewhere in the middle along with the coil spring kit that adds 0.7" to get to a 2" or slightly lower lift? I'm not looking to create a front higher than back and would prefer not to use blocks if possible.

Asked by: Brandon Paten - 7/16/2022
Customer Answer In theory, you could potentially go that route. However, the Eibach Pro-Lift Springs are only confirmed for 2009-2013 F150s, and their minimum ride height is 2", so at the 0.7" setting, you'll probably be a little nose-high.

Customer Question 1. Will these fit 2022 Powerboost Lariat? 2. It seems these will raise front 1" - 2.8" on a 2021, my question is it seems then to be level, you would want to set struts at 1.4" setting which would raise front to 2.2" vs highest setting? 3. Do the rear Eibachs make a big difference vs stock non FX4 package? And how so? Thank you!

Asked by: Sam - 6/18/2022
Customer Answer 1). From our understanding, these struts will bolt up to a PowerBoost without CCD, however, a lot of the PowerBoosts do come with CCD systems, so make sure your truck is not equipped before ordering. 2). The ride height settings of the strut assemblies are the amount of ride height they add (more or less). The 1.4" setting will add 1.4" of ride height. The gaps between the snap ring settings are less than their provided ride height gains. 3). Eibach's rear shocks are a huge improvement over stock. Their gas-charged monotube design and valving keep your F150's bed and rear end under much better control than stock hydro shocks.

Customer Answer You'll likely end up with some amount of rub with that combination, but it can likely be solved with some amount of valance trimming.

Customer Question Will these fit a 2021 4wd f150?

Asked by: Joe Doe - 10/18/2021
Customer Answer According to Eibach, these struts will fit a 2021 4WD F150 with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6. However, on a 2021 F150, these struts provide 1" to 2.8" of ride height instead of 0-2" of leveling on the 2015-2020 F150s.

Asked by: Rusty Gipson - 8/29/2021
Customer Answer We don't recommend taking these trucks beyond 3" of leveling, even with an aftermarket UCA. If you're looking to go that high, your much better bet would be a 4" suspension lift lift kit.

Asked by: John - 5/18/2021
Customer Answer They use digressive valving that's similar to the Bilstein 5100s, but it's not 100% the same. Every company "tunes" their valving a bit differently.

Customer Question Eibach says these are for the V6 4x4 , I have seen 5.0 v8 people run these but do they still give you 2.7” of lift on the v8? And how is the ride ? I have a 2018 5.0 V8 4x4 and looking for around 2.5” of lift in the front.

Asked by: Jeff - 1/5/2021
Customer Answer When used in conjunction with the optional Eibach Pro-Lift Spring, this kit will still provide about 2.7" of front leveling on a 5.0L truck with a similar ride to the 3.5L EcoBoosts. While neither Eibach nor ourselves have tried this kit on a 5.0L specifically, you have to keep in mind that the curb weights between the 3.5L EcoBoosts and 5.0L Coyote trucks are within about 100lbs of each other (assuming same bed/cab configuration and same submodel), which is then split between two sides of the truck. It's not a significant enough of a difference to impact ride height or ride quality to a dramatic effect.

Customer Question On a 2016 f150 4x4 with the eibach leveling kit on, whats the biggest tires I can run without modifying the truck. I'm looking a the method MR312 17x8.5 with a 0 offset and 4.75" backspacing also considering the 18x9 18 offset 5.5 backspacing

Asked by: Derrek - 4/29/2020
Customer Answer If you want to avoid all possibility of rub and the need to trim, we generally recommend a 33x11.50" tire or close metric equivalent. You'd be looking at something like a 295/70R17, 285/70R17, 295/65R18, or similar. On the 18x9" wheels with larger backspace, you can get away with a smidge taller of tire like a 285/70R18.

Customer Question I'm currently using 2.5 spacers on the stock front end of my 2019 F-150 4WD. would these have to be set at 0 to keep the front end leveled at 2.5 ?

Asked by: Jacob Pierce - 2/23/2020
Customer Answer That is correct. You would need to keep these struts at a 0" stock ride height to keep your leveled height with your spacer.

Customer Question I recently had the pro truck lift installed on my 2018 f150 4x4. The eibach struts were set to oem height and the eibach coil springs were installed as well for the 2.75” of lift. In your experience when you ran this kit on your project f150 how close was the control arm to the coil springs? Mine are very close; hard to even put my finger in between them (driver side is a little closer than passenger side) I’m not sure if that is typical with this set up or not. After having the lift installed as well as getting alignment done, I have a noise on my driver side front end like a rattle or clunk when going over small bumps or divits at low speed. I don’t hear it at higher speeds or bigger bumps. Does any of this sound normal to you with this kit? The mechanic who performed the alignment says the rattle/clank is due to the angle of the ball joints on the upper control arm and an aftermarket oversized UCA might fix the sound. I can submit any more info you need to help somewhat diagnose this or help point me in the right direction, I’m just concerned something is wrong.

Asked by: Blake - 1/15/2020
Customer Answer Your UCA angles will be thrown off with this kit and the springs set at 2.75"-ish of ride height, and the stock UCA can come close to the coil spring. Whether one side is closer than the other depends on your vehicle's alignment and the wear and tear on bushings. A clunk can be caused by the stock ball joint or by outright contact with the UCA with the coil spring. However, you may want to double-check the torque on the swaybar end link, as that can cause some noise as well. We tent to recommend aftermarket UCAs beyond 2.5" of leveling if you're going to be off-roading your truck, but you should be fine during normal street driving.

Customer Question Would you be able to run an add-a-leaf spring with the pro-truck kit with the eibach springs. Truck is a 2017 2.7 ecoboost w/stock rear blocks.

Asked by: Troy Samura - 1/10/2020
Customer Answer Eibach's rear shocks are only rated for 1" of rear ride height, while most add-a-leafs add 1.5" to 2" of ride height, so it's not recommended. You'll likely need to go with a set of rear shocks capable of 2" of lift.

Customer Question Hi, In conjunction with EIBE30-35-037-01-20 (Eibach Pro-Front Lift Coil Springs), Is the ride are more or less stiff than HALO-F15095H14-SLV (2014-2019 F150 Halo Boss Lifts 0-3 "Adjustable Coilover Lift)? Thanks Martin

Asked by: Martin - 11/4/2019
Customer Answer The Eibachs with Eibach's spring are less stiff than the Halo Lifts coilovers, likely due to the spring having a lower spring rate than the Halo Lifts coilovers.

Customer Answer We don't recommend it. Rough Country's 6" Lifts already throw off your suspension geometry, and adding more lift will likely cause issues.

Customer Question Seeing that these are some what of a stock replacement strut. Can these be used on a RC 6" lift kit being that the OEM strut is used on that kit? Setting these at 0 lift would essentially be the same thing correct? just better performance from an aftermarket shock I would assume?

Asked by: Derrick - 5/3/2018
Customer Answer You are correct on all counts. As long as you keep the Eibachs at a 0" factory ride height, there's no reason why you couldn't use them in conjunction with the strut spacer of your Rough Country Kit or any other lift kit that uses a strut spacer.

Customer Question Are these valved specifically for the 15-18 aluminum trucks? How does the ride and performance compare with or without the Eibach coil spring option?

Asked by: Wbierma - 12/12/2017
Customer Answer These strut assemblies are specifically for the 2015-2018 F150s. On-road ride quality isn't all that much different with or without the spring, and is a marked improvement over stock. On-road handling is slightly better with the spring, and their off-road performance is greatly improved with the Pro-Lift Spring.
