Increased Capacity and Improved Cooling

The Mag-Hytec Super 8.8" diff cover is stronger than your stock differential cover and offers improved cooling and increased capacity. This heavy-duty diff cover comes complete with a bolt kit, drain plug, and dip stick. The Super 8.8" is Ford's new 1/2 ton truck differential found on many 2015-2025 F150s, and Mag-Hytec's Super 8.8" differential cover is a drop-in replacement for stock and offers 5-quarts of oil capacity.

Textured Powder-Coated Black

Mag-Hytec's heavy duty differential cover sets your vehicle apart in both aesthetics and function - cast in A356-T6 aluminum and texture powder coated black with machined cooling fins. Magnetic drain plugs trap worn gear material promoting fluid integrity. Each unit is fitted with ARP 568 O-rings for superior sealing. All hardware is 303 stainless steel. Mag-Hygtec even includes a new gasket with each of their Super 8.8" differential covers, giving you everything you need for installation.

Ford Super 8.8" Rear Ends Only: this differential cover will only fit Ford Super 8.8" rear ends, and will not fit F150s with a 9.75" rear end. Please confirm your F150's rear end size before ordering.

2018 f150 XLT

I would have given it five stars but I did not do the fact that the wires and stuff that connected to the original differential cover I had to relocate due to the fact originally attached to the OEM bolts. Other than that I am extremely happy with the quality of this product and of the gasket I would recommend it to anybody with you for a aftermarket differential cover

2015 Ford F150

I bought this when I swapped my 3.31 gears to 4.1. I tow often so I wanted the additional fluid capacity this cover offers. The part shipped fast and looks great. The level / fill works perfect and the having the ability to drain without removing the cover is perfect. I would recommend this cover.

2015 Ford F-150

This is a quality diff cover. Heavy casting and machined well. The gasket that comes with it has three rows of rubber material so no leaks. Now my truck looks High Performance from the rear.

Will this diff cover work with the Hellwig 7899 rear sway bar kit for six inch lift on my 2014 FX4

We have not tried that fitment so we could not guarantee it would fit. The cover itself is 3 1/4" tall so you could measure and see if you have 3 1/4" clearance between where the cover would bolt to the differential and where the sway bar crosses the cover.

Does this fit a stock 2019 Raptor?

Most Raptors come with the 9.75" rear end so it's highly unlikely you have the Super 8.8" in your Raptor. You would need part# F12-9.75 for the 9.75" rear differential. I would verify with your local dealer if you are not certain which rear differential your truck has.

5 quarts is the maximum recommended capacity. As long as you're in the dipstick's safe area, you can potentially fill with less. Just keep your oil capacity in the recommended range.

According to Mag-Hytec, this part number comes with the cover itself, cover bolts, dipstick, drain plug, and gasket.

Looking at this for my 18 f150. Already confirmed having the 8.8. Want to know of I could run a hellwig rear sway bar with this?

This diff cover should work fine with a Hellwig sway bar. The Hellwigs on the 2015-2020 F150s install below the diff cover, and a larger aftermarket diff cover like this Mag-Hytec should not have issues with installation.
