Customer Question Are the straps required for the 36 Gallon tank?

Customer Answer RCI's straps are only required if your fuel tank is not equipped with OEM plastic fuel tank protectors/skid plates. If your truck has the protective plastic shield on its fuel tank, the additional studded straps are not required.

Customer Question Why won't the 26 gallon skid fit on the regular cab. Will the tank straps from the LWB 26 gal tanks differ from the regular cab 26 gal?

Customer Answer This skid plate only fits 36-gallon fuel tanks, and will not fit 26-gallon tanks due to both strap locations, sizing, and mounting points.

Customer Question Will this skid plate fit on a stock 2011 F-150 Lariat Limited Crew Cab? Gas tank size is 36 gallon.

Customer Answer Yep. This skid plate will fit any 2009-2014 F150 with a 36-gallon tank. Cab and bed configuration do not matter. Just double-check whether you need tank straps before ordering.
