Adds Extra Protection for your Fuel Tank to Prevent Punctures

The stock fuel tanks on the 2015-2023 F150s take up a lot of real estate underneath your F150 and they're extremely vulnerable to damage when you're yanking your F150 around off-road. RCI's Fuel Tank Skid Plate solves that problem so that you don't get stranded with a punctured fuel tank when your horsing around out in the wilderness. RCI's Fuel Tank Skid Plate bolts right on in place of the stock plastic skid plate on F150s with Ford's optional off-road package. Alternative, you can order a set of Ford OEM studded fuel tank straps if your truck is not equipped with a factory fuel tank skid plate.

Durable Metal Construction with Easy Installation

RCI's Fuel Tank Skid Plate is made out of thick metal that keeps your F150's fuel tank protected in practically any environment or application. The Fuel Tank Skid Plate is constructed out of 10-gauge steel with a black powder coat finish for corrosion protection, but can be upgraded to 1/4" thick 5052 aluminum in either a raw or black powder coat finish at additional cost. RCI offers skid plates for both the stock 36-gallon and stock 23-gallon fuel tanks. Please select your tank size from the drop-down menu above. For OEM Tanks Only: these skid plates will only fit OEM 23-gallon or 36-gallon fuel tanks. They will not fit aftermarket, extended-range fuel tanks from Titan, Transfer Flow, or others. Please verify your fuel tank size before ordering.

Requires Studded Tanks Straps: the skid plate requires OEM studded fuel tank straps like those found on F150s equipped with factory plastic fuel tank skid plates. If your truck does not have studded straps, they can be ordered from our drop-down menu above.

Will not fit 122" wheelbases: both the 36-gallon and 23-gallon versions of this fuel tank skid plate will NOT fit 122" wheelbase (Regular cab, 6.5ft bed) F150s.
