this kit was pretty easy to install and it took about 2 hours. My truck sits level now and I am able to fit 35X12.50 tires on 20x10 wheels with -19 offset with little trimming. Ride quality over stock was not very noticeable. This kit needs to come with caster shims in order to correct the alignment after install. You will also want to buy a track bar drop bracket or an adjustable track bar to center thr Axle. I would recommend saving up and buying a better quality system such as Carli. Cost difference (when purchasing this bilstein kit along with an adjustable track bar and caster shims) is only a couple hundred dollars. Shipping from Stage 3 Motorsports was extremely fast - I ordered this kit on a Friday and received it on Wednesday the following week. I believe this kit was shipped from their Utah distribution facility to my house in Washington.

Been on the truck for a year now. Shocks work fine but the ride quality is not up to par on Michigan's sub par roads. You will want an alignment done after installation unless you like squirrly steering. The springs should be a dual rate for people in winter climate zones.

Installation was straight forward. Took about 2 hours to install. Don’t really notice any difference in ride quality but it’s a truck not a Cadillac. It still sits a 1/2 inch low in the front which works well for me. A slight load in the bed levels it out. Intstalled with the panhard rod drop bracket which centered up the axle nicely. Do recommend an alignment after installation. As for the installation of the shocks, a hex key wrench and a pass thru socket was the way to go! Overall the the price, a really good product!

Customer Question How does the spring rate on the coils compare to the factory snow plow prep package?

Asked by: Austin - 8/17/2022
Customer Answer Unfortunately, I don't have an exact spring rate for the OEM Snow Plow prep springs, though I've heard they're around 500lb-in. The Bilstein coil springs are 450lb-ins, but they're also taller than stock. It's tough to say how they'd interact with the OEM plow package installed, but you'd likely still see some ride height gain.

Customer Answer This kit will fit 6.4L and 6.0L Powerstroke models. As long as your truck is a diesel, this system will fit and function as intended.

Customer Question since this kit is compatible with the 6.2 and the 6.7 will the weight difference make the 6.2 ride higher?

Asked by: Tom - 1/20/2018
Customer Answer We haven't tried this kit personally on a 6.2L, but since the 6.7L trucks are heavier up front, you will likely get a smidge more ride height than what the kit is rated for.

Customer Question Do you know what the # rating is of the coil springs? I currently have a 2014 F-250 Lariat that has the standard 5200# factory springs with 35's on 20x10 rims. I had to do a little trimming but I don't currently rub. When I hook up to the plow, my front will drop causing me to rub. I am debating between these or the factory OEM 7000# springs. Thanks.

Asked by: Guy T. - 9/7/2017
Customer Answer Bilstein doesn't have a pound rating for these springs available, though their spring rates are 450in-lbs, which is slightly softer than stock. This kit may work for what what you're doing, since it does add 2" of ride height over stock, but you will get some amount of front sag with your plow on.

Customer Question I have a 2015 F350 four door that i use for plowing snow in the winter. Well these springs handle the load of the plow at the same rate as stock or better?

Asked by: 8BU - 7/6/2017
Customer Answer It's tough to say. The Snow Plow Package Super Dutys came with a stiffer spring from the factory than stock, but the Bilstein's spring is slightly stiffer than stock and levels 2" to top it off. I'd argue that the Bilstein kit would do better than stock, but I don't have the exact specs of the Snow Plow trucks versus the Bilstein Kit.

Customer Question Will this kit fit a 2015 F350 4 door short bed gas truck with the 6.2 in it or is it specifically made for the diesel?

Asked by: Stretch - 5/29/2017
Customer Answer According to Bilstein, this kit fits both 6.2L gas and 6.7L diesel models, however, you will likely get slightly more front ride height than what this kit is rated for.

Asked by: Shane - 11/3/2016
Customer Answer In general, a track bar drop bracket will not be strictly required for this kit. However, if you do notice issues with your steering or front-end geometry, then you may want to get one.

Customer Question Would I be able to use these springs with the King OEM Performance Shocks (KING-25001-136A)? It looks like you say that they will work up to a 2" lift.

Asked by: atombombmx - 9/19/2016
Customer Answer You technically can, however, Bilstein currently only sells the springs in a kit with the front shocks, so you'd have an extra set of front shocks. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can see if Bilstein can offer the springs separately or to find you an alternative set of leveling springs.

Customer Question What size tires can I fit on a 2011 F350 lariat crew FX4 SRW? Can I clear 35x12.5x20?

Asked by: Luke - 9/11/2015
Customer Answer You should be able to clear up to 35" tires with this kit, but it will depend somewhat on the specifications of your wheels. Give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific with what you have.

Customer Question I have a 2012 4 door, long bed, Super Duty (6.7 Diesel) with the 4X4 off road package. The truck has a rake of about 2.5" in the front. Will this kit "level" the truck and also, will this kit affect the drive train in anyway and will I need a track bar adjustment kit etc...? Thanks for the help. Note: I don't do any offroad driving with the truck....the kit will be used to make the truck drive smoother and look better.

Asked by: Jeff - 7/6/2015
Customer Answer The kit is only rated to lift the front end by 2", so you would still have a small amount of front rake, even after installing this kit. In general, you don't really need track bar adjustments or an adjustable track bar with basic 2" leveling kits and the lifespan of your truck's driveline components is generally not effected.
