The F150s with a 6R80 6-speed transmission are known to run hot, especially when towing, hauling, or ripping around off-road. To help keep your F150's transmission temperatures under control, Mag-Hytec has developed this 6R80 Aluminum Transmission Pan for 2009-20216 F150s. Mag-Hytec's F150 Transmission pan features a larger capacity, built-in cooling fins, and a cast aluminum construction instead of stamped steel which all work together to provide much cooler transmission fluid temperatures than the factory pan which can help extend your transmission's lifespan and helps prevent overheating when you're towing heavy or pushing your F150 hard off-road during hot summer days. Mag-Hytec's transmission pan even includes a drain plug and a built-in seal that makes fluid changes and maintenance far easier than the factory pan.

All-Aluminum Pan with Built-In Cooling Fins, Integrated Seal, and Drain Plug

Mag-Hytec builds each of their pans extremely tough so that they can handle nearly application you have in mind for your truck, all while having a perfect fit. The pan is made out of aircraft-grade cast aluminum that is both very strong and radiates heat much more effectively than the stock steel transmission pans. Further improving cooling, the pan also features machined fins and four quarts more capacity than the stock transmission pan. Despite the extra capacity, the pan is only a total of 4.25" tall to not overly effect clearances. Each pan comes standard with a magnetic drain plug on its bottom that makes draining your truck's transmission fluid vastly easier than the factory transmission pan. The pan also comes standard with a built-in seal on its mounting face which means you won't need an additional gasket for installation. The pan comes with new bolts and nuts, as well as installation instructions. Each pan drops right into place of your F150's transmission pan without the need for permanent modifications.
