Motive's 3.55 gears make for a decent upgrade on just about any F150. A 3.55 drive ratio is much more aggressive than the 3.15 on basic trucks, and just enough more than 3.31 gears to improve drivability with larger wheels and tires without losing too much fuel economy. Motive's 3.55 gears for the 2004 to 2022 F150s with an 8.8" IFS can even help during towing and other performance applications by making your tough truck come into its power band that much faster. Motive's gears are designed as OE replacements and deliver low levels of noise, excellent levels of strength, and perfect operation in a low-cost package.

High-Grade, Heavy-Duty CNC Machined Gear Steel

Motive's ring and pinion gears are each manufactured out of high-strength, high-quality materials and are designed for a great fit. The gears are CNC machined from extremely strong 8620 gear steel that is then heat-treated to ensure maximum rigidity and strength. Both the ring and pinion are built to near-OEM specs and will deliver low, factory-levels of noise in almost any application.

For Ford 8.8" IFS Front Ends only: these gears will only fit Ford 8.8" Reverse-cut IFS Front Ends built from 2004 to 2022. We strongly recommend using one of Motive's Master Install Kits when putting these gears on your vehicle.
