This 3.73 ring and pinion gear set from Motive is arguably one of the best drivetrain upgrades you can make to your 2004 to 2022 4WD F150. 3.73 gears provide excellent off-the-line performance and allow stock trucks to fly through its gears with a stronger, revised power band. 3.73s are also a great choice for trucks with larger wheels and tires, and can help off-road prepped F150s avoid the sluggishness and slow shifting caused by big tires on taller gears. The gears are especially helpful when towing as they give your truck some more low-end grunt to get the ball moving on your haul. Motive's 3.73 gears for the F150's equipped with 8.8" Reverse IFS front ends are tough enough to handle just about any application you have in mind for your F150 and are carefully designed for a great fitment with OE levels of noise.

Motive's ring and pinion gears are each manufactured out of high-strength, high-quality materials and are designed for a great fit. The gears are CNC machined from extremely strong 8620 gear steel that is then heat-treated to ensure maximum rigidity and strength. Both the ring and pinion are built to near-OEM specs and will deliver low, factory-levels of noise in almost any application.

For Ford 8.8" IFS Front Ends only: these gears will only fit Ford 8.8" Reverse-cut IFS Front Ends built from 2004 to 2022. We strongly recommend using one of Motive's Master Install Kits when putting these gears on your vehicle.
