Excellent Gear Upgrade Over 3.15s for Towing and Performance

2011 to 2020 F150s running around with very tall 3.15 gears are at a pretty huge disadvantage for just about any application except for getting decent fuel economy. For anything else, including towing, off-roading, or when you throw some larger wheels and tires on your truck, you're going to need something a bit more aggressive. These 3.55 rear end gears from Motive are a nice step up from baseline 3.15s and will greatly improve your truck's off the line and towing performance by moving your F150's power band lower in the RPM range. While 3.55s aren't the most aggressive rear end gear you can grab for your truck, they are a good choice for upgrading baseline gears or replacing worn factory gears.

High-Grade, Heavy-Duty CNC Machined Gear Steel

Motive's ring and pinion gears are each manufactured out of high-strength, high-quality materials and are designed for a great fit. The gears are CNC machined from extremely strong 8620 gear steel that is then heat-treated to ensure maximum rigidity and strength. Both the ring and pinion are built to near-OEM specs and will deliver low, factory-levels of noise in almost any application.
