For Trucks with Huge Tires to Improve Power Band

This extremely short set of Motive ring and pinion gears are pretty much solely reserved for trucks running around with big 37" or larger tires and will give your 1999 to 2010 F150 back the low-end power band that it lost when you went with massive off-road wheel and tire combinations. This 4.89 ring and pinion gear set is definitely not recommended for trucks with stock-sized tires on the street, but is one of your best options for getting back a more effective and efficient power band when you put huge tires onto your F150. Motive's 4.89 gears are certainly aggressive, but when you have large off-road tires, they're bound to be one of the best upgrades you make to your F150.

High-Grade, Heavy-Duty CNC Machined Gear Steel

Motive's ring and pinion gears are each manufactured out of high-strength, high-quality materials and are designed for a great fit. The gears are CNC machined from extremely strong 8620 gear steel that is then heat-treated to ensure maximum rigidity and strength. Both the ring and pinion are built to near-OEM specs and will deliver low, factory-levels of noise in almost any application.

For Ford 9.75" Rear Ends Only: this set of gears will only fit Ford 9.75" rear ends found on 1999 to 2010 F150s. Both Motive and Stage 3 strongly recommend Motive's Master Install Kit during your gear installation.

Matching Front Gears Required: for 4WD F150s, a set of matching front 4.88 gears will be required for proper operation and drivetrain function.
