One of the most effective ways to funnel more horsepower and torque to your 2008 to 2010 Super Duty's wheels is by freeing up the restrictions and back pressure of the factory up-pipes which are narrow and restrictive. MBRP's Super Duty Off-Road Up-Pipe has a larger diameter and smoother bends which work together to give your F250 or F350 a considerable boost in horsepower and torque. MBRP's Off-Road Super Duty Up-Pipe drops right in place of the stock pipes, affording a simple and easy installation process with the proper tools.

MBRP builds each of these downpipes to fit perfectly onto your truck and operate much more efficiently than stock. This downpipe is manufactured out of aluminized steel tubing for extended life and long-term corrosion resistance. The larger diameter and smoother bends reduce back pressure and greatly improve exhaust volume and velocity leading out of your turbocharger system. Each up-pipe comes with both hardware and instructions needed for installation. This up-pipe kit requires custom tuning for proper function and to avoid engine damage.

Do I have to lift the cab to install these on a 2008 6.4?

It is possible to install these with the cab on the truck, but I'll be honest with you, it's a giant pain to get the stock up-pipes off and these installed with the cab on. A cab-off install makes an up-pipe install much less of a headache (minus the fact you need a lift). You can check out MBRP's Instructions right here.

Would I need to add this to my programmer if I already have a straight pipe tune ?

In general, aftermarket up-pipes do not require a tune or retune for proper operation, though if your truck is aggressively modified, you may want to consult with your tuner.
