2011-2014 Ford F150 145 inch Wheelbase FactionFab Stainless Steel Resonator Delete | FFA1.10180.1

I purchased this resonator delete kit back in early July. I wanted to hear more of the 5.0 growl without having to spend an arm and a leg on exhaust replacement. I also did not want to take it to a muffler shop for them to cut the stock exhaust up and make welds that would rust out down the road. I figured I would give this bolt on resonator delete kit a try before getting anymore in depth. I am glad to say I have been extremely happy with this "small" upgrade! Install: Even though I am not a mechanic, the install went very well for me. It took me longer to remove the stock resonator than it did for me to install the delete kit. I tried doing my research before tackling this little project, which helps quite a bit. One thing that was not noted in any of the videos I watched was the "locking pin" (picture attached) on the stock exhaust set up. I did not realize that the resonator had to be turned slightly before it could be slid off the rest of the pipe. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out why the resonator would not come off only to find out I was fighting against that pin. The locking pin also hindered the installation of the delete kit because there was no slot made in the delete pipe to accommodate the locking pin. This is why I did not give this kit a complete five stars. I did have to grind the locking pin off, which would be difficult for someone to do that does not own any sort of grinding tool. Other than that, install went very smooth for being by myself. Material Quality: There is nothing complicated about this kit. It is a stainless-steel pipe with a bolt mount on one side. The kit comes with a seal to help seal the pipe to the down pipe. It also comes with the mounting bolts and a pipe clamp. All components are extremely high quality and I fully expect it to last the life of the truck without issues. Sound: If you are looking for an aggressive sound, this kit is a step in the right direction, but it alone will not make the truck loud. This kit gives the truck that growl back during a cold start and during acceleration. It not obnoxious while driving and still has great depth and tone. I highly recommend it for anyone that is looking for something slightly noisier than stock. Price: The price might seem a bit steep for just a tube, but in my opinion it is not. If you look at some of the name brand kits you will pay double the price for the same exact thing. Like stated before, this kit is high quality and built to last.

I replaced the factory resonator with this direct replacement and continued back into a flowmaster super 44 all stainless sound's awesome. Used factory tailpipe.

Fits perfectly, sounds a bit louder at cold start with magnaflow exhaust, not bad while cruising, happy with purchase.

Apologies for no pictures as this was put on my sons truck over the holidays and he has returned to school. I have never been happier ordering something and the ease of install. The worst part was getting the old resonator out to install this pipe. Fantastic results.

I gave 4 stars only because I had to remove and reuse the old clamp. The one they sent with the pipe was too small. Other than that pretty straightforward.

Very nice quality delete pipe. Very happy they come with new mounting hardware because mine were rusted out. I also ordered the wrong size pipe, so I just ended up cutting it down and using a generic galvanized pipe adapted to fit it up. Adds a decent bit of sound, but only under engine load or WOT, otherwise it keeps it close to stock volume at idle. Great choice for a starting mod considering the price and the fact it's not gonna rust out on you. I'd probably buy this again if I had to, I'd just pick the right size next time.

Good price. Quick shipment. Great sound. Downside is this resonator delete was slightly longer than the stock resonator. This meant that my exhaust tips stick out way more than they should. Required that I trim my catback exhaust to get the tips back more close to flush against the truck.
