2019 F150 Screw FX4. I ordered delete kit on a Friday received on a Wednesday...not bad. Pulled my stock resonator off in the morning and waited on UPS. Arrived and measured the delete and noted it was about 1/ 1/2" shorter than original and was mildly concerned (41 1/2 vs 39 3/4"). Had the new delete fitup in 15 mins. and evenly snugged up the donut flange. Noted the rear portion of pipe was not fully seated and could see that the muffler end was not full past the split/crimp lines of the delete pipe where the clamp seats. I crawled out then tapped the a*s end of the muffler with a mallet to persuade it full into the joint. There was adequate movement forward in the hangers and factory “accordion” muffler section for a good fit so the shortened length was no issue and was possibly by design to ease install (it took me longer to get the factor resonator out then to install the delete). I did not drop anything out of the hangers so I was glad it was a bit shorter since it pulled together for a good fit. Anyway it was an easy home install by myself. I tightened everything up and took it for a “test”. Its a bit more throaty at idle and definitely more so under acceleration. At 55/60/75mph I really do not notice much difference unless I dropped down or got into the turbo or pull a long highway hill. A little more depth would nice but all in all I’m pleased with it.

I have been looking for a Resonator Delete for the a while. When this particular one was posted it was hard not to buy based on the price. It was an easy install - a true plug and play. It took roughly 40 minutes to remove the factory resonator and install the new. My truck only had 20K miles, so removing the original bolts wasn't a burden. A touch of liquid wrench helped get move things along. The sound on a cold start sounds great with a deep throaty base. During accelleration there is a deep grumble sound. It takes the stock muffler sound up just a touch. Cabin noise is at a minimum a cruising speed. I have had Flowmaster 40 series on previous trucks and this would be a downgrade from sound but an upgrade with your current stock muffler. I would recommend.

Great quality, perfect fit, best materials used in this piece. Includes all hardware, clamp and gasket. In my opinion it’s what the 5.0 should have sounded like from the factory. It’s not a huge sound difference but it is definitely noticeable. It is a deeper exhaust note. I am very happy with it!

A very nice looking 304 ss pipe and install was easy. Sound is a little deeper and louder from stock as expected. Probably the quietest upgrade for the Ecoboost you can do. You hear it the most at low rpms inside the cabin and slightly louder while accelerating but quiet while cruising.

With the 2.7L, I did not want to install a full exhaust because I am not a fan of the sound you get from them. So I was looking at resonator delete kits, I mainly picked this kit because of price, but after getting it I can tell it is well made. No instructions were included but the install was super easy. It gave my 2.7L just enough sound when I want it and quiet when going down the freeway. Perfect.

Took a day or two longer to get here than expected, but well worth the wait. Good heavy material that fits perfect to a T. No instructions at all, which means no pictures to follow. But, it is a pretty much straight forward bolt out and bolt in installation. An extra pair of hands would be helpful as you need to slide the stock exhaust rearward in order to remove the resonator pipe section. Not that it's that difficult, but in doing so the stock exhaust to the rear of the axle does slip out of the factory exhaust hangers with ease causing a loud thumb as it does. This is where the extra pair of hands come into play, to either catch the exhaust as it drops, or to help line up and inset the exhaust back into the two hangers. Other than that it's one band clamp and two bolt and nuts to tighten up nice and snug. You can hear the lack of back pressure with the first turn of the key as the motor starts. As for added volume it's still nice and quite at an idea and under normal acceleration. Of course every one may have a different definition as to what normal is. Under a more aggressive push of the pedal you can hear a nice increase in the sound of the exhaust. Still sound like the stock exhaust in tone, only with more volume. If you flat get on the pedal and run the RPM's up in range the volume is much more in tune with a nice steady exhaust sound of an aggressive nature. Not abusive, but more commanding...sounds damn good to be honest about it. I am seeing about a 1/2 mile per gallon increase in my MPG in running in town which kind of surprised me in that I do like to hear the more aggressive tone of the exhaust. Your mileage may vary of course!! Is this worth the money, I would say a big hardy YES by all means.

Exactly what I was looking for. Deleting the resonator adds just the right amount of growl to the exhaust note. No highway drone. Most of the new sound is noticed between 1500-2500 rpm.

Improved the sound of the exhaust. Truck sounds a lot better driving away and driving by. No significant sound change in the cab.

Fits great took about 30 minutes to install. Sounds great on cold starts and a little bit more throaty when you step on it.

Easy to install and sounds great.

A more throaty exhaust note on start up and while cruising. Anyone who wants some sound out of their factory exhaust should get this. I can’t speak for 5.0 owners, but the ecoboost trucks should come like this factory!

Great resonator delete pipe. Perfect fit, no instructions needed and fast delivery. Just make sure when removing your stock resonator to clock the pipe 1/8th turn to unlock it our of the dog from the stock muffler section. Nice start up tone, no drone, nice tone under acceleration. Just what I asked for!

It arrived quickly and appears to be of very good quality. Installation was easy and only took about 20 minutes as it fit perfectly in place of the resonator. The sound is just what I was looking for, quiet when driving normal and a slight rumble when accelerating. If you want a little more sound while leaving the factory exhaust in place don’t hesitate to purchase this.

Clean look, perfect fit, and exactly the amount of v8 sound I was wanting out of my stock 2019 f150 with the 5.0 V8. Not too loud, and no cab drone at all. But when I want to hear it I can by laying into a little. Also cold starts sound amazing now! Won’t wake the neighbors though. Love it!

Sounds much better than stock. Stock had a good tone but now it has a growl like a Mustang. Not so loud the neighbors notice until you step into it, great tone! Great buy to get some aggressive sound.

Install was pretty straight forward. I am very pleased with this product. Appears to have quality parts. The clamp that comes with it is very tight and that was my only issue, once I got it on it was easy peasy. The sound is noticeable on cold starts and under load. Can hear some more turbo noise and a little more growl under throttle! I am very pleased with the product, shipping was fast too.

I have a similar review to one of the others. It is a nice kit but I thought it was a little harder to install than most say(by yourself anyway). There is a crossmember directly below the front flange. You have to push the exhaust pretty far back to clear the crossmember, which makes the whole exhaust fall out of the back hangers. That made for a good bit more work than I expected. The rest was pretty easy but the band clamp with mine was very hard to get on the flared section of pipe. I ended up being able to tap it into place with a hammer and big screw driver combination. It took me about an hour to install. It sounds stock so far to me at idle and cruising on the interstate. But it has a slightly deeper sound under light acceleration and a noticably better sound under heavy acceleration. As someone else said, it sounds like it should have come from the factory, good but not too much.

Gave it a little more of a rumble but not loud in cab and no drone like a lot of full exhaust systems.

The hardest part is taking off the stock resonator, but PB spray and a shortened sledge makes it easier. Bang on that welded band clamp towards the driver side and once it clears the notch, bang that stock resonator with a rubber mallet towards the front of the vehicle. The sound is exactly how any truck should sound like from the factory. I opted for this over aftermarket exhausts because there's no drone and it's not obnoxiously loud (it's a turbo after all, let your prey hear the spool before the kill). On start and idle, you'll have that "wolf growl" and at wide open throttle that growl chases to the top. From inside the cabin, the growl gives you the same feeling as Gandalf and the dwarves just as they hear the wolf man in the distance--you hear it just faintly enough to know it's time to run. This may be a little more expensive than the hack and weld job at a garage, but it's clean and can go back to stock with ease. Btw, although the stock pipe is about 1.5 inches longer, the Fab actually fits perfect with common sense and a tad of mechanical and engineering competency...mostly common sense.

Fit perfectly, once my truck was jacked up I had the stock resonator out and the delete bolted in place in about 30 minutes ,I did spray WD 40 on the bolts the night before. The sound difference is minimal in the cab when going down the road ,no drone detected at highway speeds overall very pleased with product

Good quality product for the price. Easy to install, took under 30 mins. Truck has little more sound to it, which suits me great.

Factionfab failed me by not supplying hardware. STAGE3 customer support was very supportive and helped me source parts locally. I requested be refunded $30 to be fair. They did it without any resistance. Overall very happy with my purchase and the sound is great. No drone or rice burner sound.

Install: Spray penetrating lube on all the bolts. Used hand tools to loosen the nuts. Had to use screw driver on aft/rear section to pry metal away and hammer on factory clamp to knock off rust. You’ll need to rotate the pipe to clear a metal tab also. Or bend the metal up and out of the way. New part install is super easy. Just re-torque after a few heat cycles. Sound: slightly more growl at low rpm before speed and tire/wind noise drowned it out. On throttle sound is slightly more growl too. Perfect!

Pretty simple install - maybe 30 minutes, had it on for about a month now. Wanted just a little more growl out of the stock "duals" on the Tremor 5.0 without having to do a cat-back. For a $150 I'm pleased with it. The biggest note changes are on the cold start and from 3 to 4K (at least from inside the cab) and no droning.

Wanted a little more rumble and deeper tone. This gave it to me without being obnoxious. No drone imo. Other than contending with a frame cross-member that is in the way of the pipe it was a straight forward install. Did it on jack stands. I needed an extra set of hands to get the old pipe out. The pipe itself looks great with great welds.

I never do reviews but really this impressed me. Exactly what I wanted. Nice growl on acceleration, quiet while cruising. Installation took maybe 30 minutes including jacking it up and jack stand. I did use penetrating oil the night before but old resonator came right off.
