Customer Question Hi, I want to know if this item works for my f150 2010 4x2, the VIN number is 1FTEW1C81AFD47251, also to know if there is something a little higher than 2 inch.

Asked by: Andres - 10/4/2021
Customer Answer This kit will fit your truck. If you want other options that can add more than 2", your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question What ucas are reccomended with this kit I have a 13 rwd 5.0

Asked by: Jwatson - 4/3/2020
Customer Answer Technically, this kit does not outright require a UCA. However, in general, we recommend either the ICON Delta Joint or the BDS Tubular Ball Joint UCAs.

Customer Question I already have this on my truck. Currently have 305/55/20 on there. I just got some new 17in wheels. Will 315/70/17 fit? or am I better off with a 285/75/17?

Asked by: Mike - 1/28/2020
Customer Answer That's going to depend entirely on what wheel you're using (specifically its widths, backspacing, and offsets) and if you're already done any trimming to clear your current tires. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific.

Customer Question I have a 2013 F150 2wd will this level the truck? Will the UCA need to be replaced as well? I am currently running the factory 20s and 275/55/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s.

Asked by: Manny - 10/17/2018
Customer Answer The Fox 2.0s add 2" of front ride height, which still leaves a hint of rake. In general, it takes about 2.5" of level to get the 2009-2014 F150s "dead-level". This kit does not require a UCA upgrade, but if you are going to be doing a lot of off-roading or high-articulation stuff, then a UCA could be a good idea.

Customer Question Looking for a kit for the 2018 2wd f150 xl. Will this kit work? The link from the 4wd kit took me here.

Asked by: jay - 8/6/2018
Customer Answer This package will not fit your truck. It's only for 2009-2013 F150s. Unfortunately, Fox does not have specific shocks/coilovers for the 2014-2018 F150s. That being said, the system meant for 2014-2018 4WD F150s will physically bolt up and function fine on an RWD/2WD F150, you'll just get slightly more ride out of the coilovers than what they're rated for on an 4WD F150.

Customer Question I have a 2" level on my 2011 Ford F-150 2wd Platinum. I'm thinking about throwing the lift on as well. Would I need to upgrade any other suspension parts in order for everything to work smoothly? And would this part fit?

Asked by: Jared - 6/15/2017
Customer Answer We don't recommend using the Fox 2.0 coilovers in conjunction with spacers, as you'll get 4" of total lift, which would throw off your suspension geometry to an excessive degree, if you could even get them installed in the first place. If you're looking for 4" of lift, then you'd be better off doing a complete 4" suspension lift kit. If you're going to install these coilovers with your spacers, then we strongly suggest you set them at a 0" stock ride height and work your way up carefully while ensuring you're not overly throwing off your UCA, LCA, or tie rod angles.

Customer Question Whats the largest size tires that will fit with this package?

Asked by: Steve - 5/2/2017
Customer Answer That's going to depend entirely on what wheels you're planning to use, specifically, their widths, offsets, and backspacing. In general, the biggest tire we usually recommend for a 2" leveling system is a 33x11.50" or a close metric equivalent.

Customer Question I have a 2014 F150 2WD ecoboost. Will this fit my truck? And will this level my truck?

Asked by: Chris Ricci - 4/29/2016
Customer Answer This package will not fit your truck. Ford changed the design on the lower LCA strut mount for the 2014 model year. The 2014-2016 F150 4WD Fox 2.0 Coilovers will fit your truck, though you will get slightly more ride height than what they're rated for on a 4WD F150. Unfortunately, Fox does not yet have a 2014-2016 2WD-specific Fox 2.0 Coilover Kit available.

Customer Question I have a 2013 F150 with the 5.0 motor. I was told I need to get new spindles even when i just level the truck out. Is this true with the Fox shocks you have here?

Asked by: Mike - 1/19/2016
Customer Answer Aftermarket spindles/taller spindles are not required for most basic leveling kits up to 3" in height, including this Fox System.

Customer Question I drive a 2013 ford f150 2WD and was wondering if this part will fit my car with no problems ? Also would I be able to lower it lower than the factory look with this suspension or is their another suspension here on your website for that ?

Asked by: Abdul - 7/4/2015
Customer Answer The kit will fit your truck, but it's only designed for lifting the front end of your truck, and will not lower its ride height at all. If you want to lower your truck, you'll need something like McGaughy's 2/4" Drop Kit.
