Front Adjustable 2.0 Coilovers with up to 2" of Leveling

For the front of your F150, FOX gives you a set of their awesome 2.0 Adjustable Coilovers to replace the stock shocks and springs. The coilovers provide vastly improved rebound, compression, and articulation while still keeping your factory ride when you're on pavement. The coilovers feature adjustable ride height from 0" to 2", making them a great way to level out the front of your truck to get on bigger tires. They come pre-set at 2" of ride height to give you maximum leveling right out of the box. The coilovers have nitrogen-charged design with a 5/8" chrome plated and heat-treat shaft that's built for performance and reliability. Fade-Resistant Aluminum Body Shocks

Update your truck's rear suspension with a pair of FOX 2.0 Aluminum-Body Shocks that drop right into place of your stock shocks and provide improved stability and heat dissipation. Like the coilovers up front, these shocks are made out of 6061-T6 aluminum and use an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design to provide improved response while handling up to an extra 1" of rear lift. 2011 f150 platinum

This setup is incredible! I debated for weeks over all the different choices out there and digressive vs progressive valving. I bought these an could not be happier. No more roll and wallow in corners and no more bouncing oscillations after big bumps off road. Everything is tight and controlled but the ride is not rough, it soaks up expansion joints, square bumps and potholes almost like they aren't even there! City driving or true offloading I highly recommend these and Stage 3 has been great!

I recently finished installing this kit and man what a difference. Ride quality is much better then stock. It put the perfect amount of leveling to my truck as well. Would highly recommend this kit if your looking to improve suspension and level your truck.I'm running 33 Nitto trail grapples and absolutely no rubbing at the factory setting from Fox.I think I might be doin b 35s on the next set.

2010, F150, King Ranch

63K miles on the truck, had leveling kit w/295/60/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I've towed with it, hit plenty of potholes but never off roaded as its not designed to. Noticed on last trip right front strut leaking which explains excessive wheel vibration i thought was tires needed replacing. Stage 3 talked me into these vs. the BIlsteins, plus these were on sale. Side by side visual comparison the stock look like a POS. I took the rears off and compressed by hand to see how worn, i'm 175lb and i barely leaned on the stockers and they just collapsed. The FOX's are stiff and firm. The fronts are just stout. Now the ride, IMO, exact same as stock when new. Smooth, not jarring, not to firm, etc. Would i treat it as a RAPTOR, no. But i'd be a bit more confident if need be on shallow off road type surface. If i had the opportunity to try the bilsteins first, i would've. But, i won't argue as i think they're quality. My only gripe, the truck kind of suspension squeaks going over like speed bumps or articulating slowly. There wasn't anything to grease on install i was told nor supplied anything, so i can only assume its normal w/the FOX setup or something else in the suspension needs to be lubed or replaced.

2012 F150 FX4

I'm absolutely love this set of shocks. When I bought my truck, brand new in December of 2011, I had a leveling kit installed along with 305/55r20 Trail Grapplers. This set-up was awesome and looked great for the first four years and 50k miles. I decided to get ready for the next four years and 50k miles that I would make some improvements on my rig. Thank goodness for Stage 3. I was able to get all the items I needed in one place. Not to mention all the informational resources. The Fox Stage 1 Suspension replaced the leveling kit I had put on originally. At first glance I noticed the slight lift over the original set-up. The most noticeable change for me while driving was taking turns. The handling is improved. The rest of my upgrades included a set of Power Stop brakes (rotors and brake pads) and four BFG AT KO2 (305/55r20). My only regret is that I didn't have the Fox shocks from the start. They are worth the expense.

2013 F-150 Screw FX4

Just what the doctor ordered. Install is very straightforward. At the factory supplied 2 inch, the truck is level. The ride on and off road was improved and the truck handles much better. I discovered a dip the other day at about 30 miles per hour and it was clear the shock rate was perfect for the weight of the truck. Don't hesitate. For the money, I can't imagine it getting much better.

Simple Install probably 3 hrs. or so , truck rides pretty much like stock, little firmer in corners. Tires no longer rub at full turn. Truck slightly higher in front than rear (1/2) this is probably due to the Cap and/or 7 year old rear leaf spring suspension. Might use add a leaf in the rear dependent on how it works towing. Stage3 is awesome. Received the order quickly and was packaged well.

Probably a little From normal driving to off road this makes a Huge difference. Over all the mods I've done to my truck, I can honestly say this is my absolute favorite. Before, when I would come into a hard corner, the amount of body roll the truck had was terrible. This fixed everything. And the ride height was perfectly level right out of he box. Never adjusted anything. If you want a leveling kit and want to do it the right way....this is the kit.

2013 F150 FX4 Eco

First off thanks to Stage 3 Motorsports for the fast shipping and first rate customer service. Overall I am really pleased with the quality of the Fox parts and the ride. Just understand that this kit will not turn a regular F150 into a Raptor, but is a huge improvement over the stock suspension. It would appear my truck I bought used a month ago (68k miles) spent its entire life in the northeast so install was anything but smooth. If you have an older truck, live in the rust belt, then plan on using a lot of PB Blaster or something similar. Once I got the stock parts off the Fox stuff went on pretty easy. I did this project by myself in the driveway with just basic hand tools, a floor jack, and heavy duty jack stands. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone looking for an upgrade over the stock suspension without spending a small fortune. Once again this not a full blown Raptor suspension so know its limitations.

Install was fairly easy and straightforward. Front coil overs added a true 2 additional lift from stock. While adding this kit I installed an additional 1/2 lift plate to the front and a 1 lift block to rear. Giving my truck a fantastic stance and improved ride over stock.

I bought this unit and took it and truck straight to the shop I use for install . The mechanic came to me and said these want fit . Stage 3 had sent me the wrong struts for my year model . So I called Stage 3 and mentioned what had happen and I was trying to get the kit installed over the weekend . Stage 3 ok sorry for the mistake we have your struts on their way. They expidited the right struts over night. I have now been riding around with the fox2.0 on my truck with 275/65R20s and really like the stance and ride it has given my truck . Thanks Stage 3 !

2010 f150 Lariat

After being on the fence for a month debating on these or Bilsteins I decided to go with Fox Stage 1 package because of the fact that they came preset with 2in. Level and not having to mess with swaping the coil springs as I would have had to on the bilsteins. And glad I made this choice cause it cured the rear axle hop issue and the saggy front end plus I'm able to drive the truck much more aggressively with out the feeling of rolling the truck and I can fly 65+mph down the prairie roads (which are dirt roads for you city folks) and stuck the pot holes and whoops up like a Cadillac. Love these shocks and suggest you make this purchase without any hesitation and I've heard some comments about them being to stiff on road. Well those people must be haters or something cause there is nothing but buttery smooth feeling from my suspension package. Thanks Stage 3

2011 F150 Harley edition

Very happy with this suspension package. I discovered my front coils were both broken, I they had a basic level kit bolted on top, so I figured I’d put a decent suspension in place of it to fit the 35’s I’d been running. Immediately after bolting these in I wished I’d done it years ago. Can’t speak on the longevity of the shocks or true off road abilities, but I’ve got no complaints.

Overall I'm really happy with this kit. Installation was pretty simple even for someone with no real mechanical experience. I've definitely noticed that the ride feels a bit more solid and the body roll is reduced. I know they're supposed to be set for a 2 inch lift from the factory but I notices about 4 inches on the driver side and 3 1/5 on the passenger side; I believe this is probably due to the factory springs being old as sagging and the driver side spring being broken at the bottom accounting for the extra half inch. Stage 3 has absolutely amazing value added items such as the installation videos and very fast shipping. The price was also the cheapest I could find.

Great improvement. The previous owner had installed a leveling kit shaver in front which caused squeaking and tire rub. While installing this kit, the truck handles better, steering feels tighter, and while hotrodding around the farm, tree holes and bumps are soaked up better. NOW, stage 3 deserves loads of recognition and praise because shopping was pretty quick and when UPS delivered 75% of my order after losing my front shock assembly, I emailed Stage 3 and a torrent was sent out same day. This is my second round of ordering and i fully intend to order here again.

The stage one kit was easy to install with the help of a lift. It brought the truck up about 2 inches to level as stated. The ride is great and tightened the roll of the trucks front end. I would definately suggest this upgrade for your worn out suspension. My kit showed up with 4 fronts but they quickly sent the rears for me.

2013 Ford F150 Lariat 5.0L

So far so good with this package. I ordered it last Sunday, it was shipped Wednesday morning, arrived at my house on Thursday. With multiple emails at each stage. I was able to do the Rears last night and finished up the Fronts tonight. It probably took me longer than most people will say it should, But this was also my first time ever trying to replace a suspension and when you run into issues they don't show in the videos, or they do not elaborate on the harder points. You figure it out lol. All in all, I am completely satisfied with my new suspension. Pics of old and new components. I can definitely say I will be ordering through Stage 3 again.

Superior to stock--but them. Considered this a long time before purchasing, not wanting to buy the 2.5 if the 2.0 would suffice. Much better than stock on road--less roll and better at eating up bumps without jarring your teeth out. I have not had it off road, but I am sure the characteristics mentioned will be helpful in my hunting property drives and farm field crossings etc. if offroad is your primary thing, then the 2.5s may be worth it, but 99% of us drive offroad as a secondary thing.

2011 F-150 FX4

I'm incredibly disappointed in the life of these shocks. I was happy with their performance while in use but my right rear just went out at 40,000 miles. Most of my driving is pavement commute for work with a bit of pasture driving on the farm or minimum maintenance roads while hunting, but roads a stock truck can handle, just not as comfortably. I do not feel like I've been hard on them at all and barely put them through their paces. The shock in question dumped all the oil and will not compress past the neutral loading and obviously hits really hard when hitting a bump. 1 year warranty is up and all I could do if it wanted is have it sent in for evaluation and likely rebuild for a cost of $100 when you can buy a new set for $280. With the Fox name brand, cost and easy driving I really expected these to go well past the 40k I have on them. Really disappointed and likely will not buy Fox again. I just really expected better.

2013 f150 fx4. With the full 2" of lift, What's the largest tire I can clear with the stock 18in rims?

If you want to avoid all chances of rubbing, we recommend a 33x11.50" tire or close metric equivalent. That would put you at a 295/65R18, 285/70R18, or 275/70R18. If you don't mind doing some valance trimming, then you can go a smidge wider or taller.

What weight are these shocks weighted for? Wanting to put an offroad bumper on that weighs about 92 lbs. Just want to know if these would be able to handle that weight and keep the front end from sagging.

These coilovers aren't rated for a particular weight. That being said, if the bumper weighs 92lbs, you're really only adding a net weight of around 50lbs (since you're removing the stock bumper), which is less than the difference between two drivers in a lot of cases. You likely won't have major sagging issues.

I live in an area that uses a lot of salt on the roads during winter months. Do you recommend running a shock boot for the rears? If yes, is there a specific brand I should look at?

You probably don't have to use a boot, since the shafts are hard-chromed. That being said, a boot is never a bad idea, and we tend to recommend ICON's 2.0 Boot for 2.0 shocks like the Fox.

Bout to pull the trigger on the fox 2.0 coilovers for my 2012 f150. The 2.5” puck ride has gotten horrible. Do you think my 305/55R20 Tires on -25 wheels will fit? The fit currently do I wouldn’t think half an inch would matter

An alignment is highly recommended after installation, mostly to correct toe angle to prevent weird/excessive tire wear. A 275/65R20 is fairly tall, so you may need to do some valance trimming to avoid rub in all conditions, but for normal street driving, you may be okay with that combination.

I ordered a Mammoth 3-Inch Front / 2-Inch Rear Leveling Kit. Will this Kit work in addition to the mammoth kit?

It will not. The rear shocks are not long enough to work with 2" of lift, and are only rated for 1" of lift over stock. You could potentially use the front coilover, however, you will need to set it to a 0" factory ride height setting, since you really should not take these trucks beyond 3" of front leveling.

I currently have stock shocks with BDS 2.5 leveling kit attached. Can I use the BDS leveling kit with these shocks adjusted to stock height ?

Sort of. The problem with the BDS 2.5" kit for the 2009-2013 F150s is that it comes with a preload spacer, as well as an upper strut spacer. You could feasibly reuse the upper strut spacer without any issues, but since the preload spacer is designed for the stock spring, I'm not sure if you'd be able to reuse it nor what ride height you'd end up with.

After installation of this kit, how is the angle on the upper ball joints and CV? I recently had a 2" level in my 13 f150 lariat, and the level was horrible for my front end. How is this 2" raise with the coil overs better or different?

As far as front suspension geometry and CV angles are concerned, there is no difference between a 2" leveling spacer and leveling 2" with the coilovers in this kit. The only potential benefit in regards to angle with the coilovers is the fact they can be lowered, if need be. In our experience, as long as you stay below 3" of leveling, you won't experience long-term CV issues.

You'd probably see a hint of rub with a 305 wide tire when you're turning and articulating at the same time, due to the large amount of backspace on the stock Platinum wheels. If you want to avoid all chances of rub, you may want to go with a 285/60R20 instead.

Can I install the coilovers with a leveling kit already installed? Or would the leveling kit have to be removed?

That's going to depend on the height of the current leveling kit and how high you're planning on setting the coilovers. In general, you won't be able to use these coilovers in conjunction with a leveling spacer, since the combination of the two would push your geometry beyond safe levels. These coilovers add 2" of front leveling out of the box, and we don't recommend going beyond 3" of total front leveling. You're better bet would be to use the coilovers on their own or go with a different option if you want to go higher than 2".

The Fox 2.0s provide 2" of ride height out of the box, which is just shy of being "dead-level" (which is at roughly 2.5" of leveling). That being said, we don't recommend taking the F150s beyond 3" of total front ride height, as your front suspension geometry will be thrown too far off. If you want to keep your front leveling spacers, you'll likely need to drop the Fox 2.0s down to a 0" factory ride height. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific about what you're trying to do.

I've read mixed statements of the "out of the box" lift of the coilovers. Is the two inch lift already set on the coilovers as delivered from the factory right out of the box?

According to Fox, these coilovers should come preset, out of the box at 2" of ride height over stock. However, it can be hit or miss at times, and even Fox coilovers we've ordered for our own trucks have been set low.

So I have a FX4 and was able to fit 35 inch tires Now the ride is very bouncy. The truck has the factory level kit. Will this Fox kit change my ride height or do i have to keep the factory level lit on the front?

The Fox coilovers provide 2" of front leveling on a base model truck. It's my understanding that the FX4 Off-Road package trucks run around 1" to 1.5" taller than base trucks, so you should be fine as far as ride height is concerned.

I have a 2013 f150 XLT 4WD and i am wanting to level the truck. I plan on keeping the stock 18inch wheels and add some mastercraft coursers MXT 295/70R18s (they are 34.25 inches tall and have 9.5 inches of tread width). Would the the FOX stage 1 package be a good choice? Thanks.

Your only issue is that the Fox 2.0 coilovers only level up to 2" of front ride height, which will leave you with a hint of rake. However, you should be able to clear that wheel and tire combination during normal street driving, though you may get some rub when you're articulating and turning.

Is it easy to install the front Fox 2.0 Coilover on 2012 4X4 F150 platinum? I had installed front shock of different brand and the control arm was not lower enough to pull the whole assembly out. I had to compress the spring to remove and install the assembly.

The Fox 2.0s do not use a spanner wrench for ride height adjustments. Ride height is adjusted by compressing the spring, loosening the retaining screw on the lower collar, and then rotating the collar by hand.

The rear shocks included in this package are not long enough to work on a 6" lift kit. The front coilovers will only work on a lift kit that came with front strut spacers, and even then, you'll have to be extremely careful with their ride height settings to ensure that your truck's brake lines aren't overly stretched, your suspension geometry isn't overly thrown off, and that your driveshaft isn't being overly pulled out from its yoke. If you want rear shocks that work with a 6" lift kit, then take a look at the BDS Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks for 6" Lifts.

I have 2013 Raptor wheels and tires (315/70R17) on my 2011 F-150 with the Bilstein 5100s. There is no rubbing except at full lock with moderate compression. I'd like to run this set-up on my 2013 F-150 with 2017 Raptor wheels and tires. Do these offer the same amount of lift as the Bilsteins?

They do not. The Bilstein 5100s have a rated maximum ride height increase of 2.25", while the Fox coilovers are only rated for 2". If you're looking to gain some extra height over the Bilstein 5100s, then you should take a look at the Halo Lifts Boss Coilovers.

I have a 2011 F150 FX4 3.5 Ecboboost right now with a 2" procomp leveling spacer, 33x12.5x17 nitto ridge grapplers and KMC Bully wheels with 0 offset. No rubbing no trimming and it is good... My question is, would it ride better with these fox coilovers if I set the coilovers to 2"? If I get these fox coilovers I would not have to use my procomp spacer, correct? Also, if I do order can you guys set the coilovers to add for the 2" level?

In general, you would get improved (if a hint stiffer) ride quality with a set of coilovers versus a spacer, and you could get rid of spacer and solely use the coilovers if you're happy at 2" of front leveling. The coilovers should come out of the box at 2" of leveling, as that's where Fox is supposedly setting them these days.

Hello, Already have the fox kit on 2013 FX4 5.0 Crew Cab. Planning to add 17" Method Wheels Double Standard, upper arms, and N-Fab front bumper. Will this setup fully clear 35" such as 315/70 or 35/12.50 even when off-roading? What would be the tallest diameter if I keep the stock bumper? Thank you.

You're going to have a couple of issues with your setup right off the bat: 1). Depending on the UCAs you choose, a 12.50" wide tire may be too wide, given that most UCAs say they require a 9" wide wheel with a maximum of 5" of backspace to clear a true 12.50" wide wheel. The Method 17" wheels for the F150s are 8.5" wide with a 0mm offset and 4.75" of backspace. ICON's UCAs will likely work, however, though some other manufacturers can't guarantee fitment. 2). Even with an off-road bumper that provides more clearance, you'd still get rub on the back side of the front wheel well and your fender flares at only 2" of lift and that wheel and tire combination. 3). Whether you keep the stock bumper or not, the biggest tire we generally recommend for the Fox coilovers is a 33x11.50", though you may be able to get away with a 305 wide (12" wide) tire given your wheels.

I'm considering getting these but I am a little concerned about a couple reviews saying they make a squeaking noise. Do they have polyurethane bushings that are making them squeak or is something else going on?

It's tough to say. The coilovers do use a spherical bearing, which can increase noise, but a lot of squeaking complaints that we've seen and resolved have actually had more to do with other suspension components not being properly reinstalled after the Fox system has been put on.

That's really going to depend on exactly how much rake you actually want to keep. In general, a 2" level tends to maintain a slight amount of rake, and if you're not looking to go back to the full factory rake, then Halo Lift's 2" to 2.50" rear block would be your best bet. If you're only looking for a slight rake, I'd suggest either the 2" or 2.25" size options.

In our opinion the Fox 2.0 coilovers tend to have better ride quality at their full height, much better off-road performance, and are generally more durable than the Bilsteins in off-road applications. That being said, the Bilsteins are a fraction of the price of the Fox coilovers and do just fine in on-road or light off-road applications, so what's "better" really just depends on what you're doing with your truck and your budget.

No further suspension modifications are strictly required, and both the shocks and front coilovers can be installed without further upgrades. The 2" of front leveling provided by the coilovers does throw off your truck's suspension geometry by some degree, it's not usually enough to cause long-term reliability issues. That being said, if you are driving your truck aggressively off-road, you may want to consider getting uniball upper control arms.

The coilovers alone will not allow for the clearance of 35" tires without a ton of trimming and/or an aftermarket front bumper. Wheel backspacing will be entirely dependent on the tire you're trying to fit (both their height and width), what other suspension modifications you plan on adding down the road, and what kind of stance you want. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific with what you're trying to do. The front coilovers can be used with any 4" or 6" suspension lift kit that comes with standard strut spacers. However, the rear shocks are not long enough to handle a complete suspension lift kit.

I recently purchased and installed this kit on my 2013 F150 FX4 Ecoboost. I still have the factory size tires on my truck. After installing these there seems to be a decent amount of road noise, I can't figure out where the noise is coming from. It sounds like tire noise. I had my tires rotated, balanced, and an alignment done but the noise remains. Could this be noise from the cv shafts or what? Any input would be great. Thanks

Some of your choice is going to depend on your tires, what modifications you're planning to make in the future (especially if you're going to consider adding UCAs or a lift kit down the road). If you're not too concerned about backspace with future mods, then doing one of the 9" wide Mavericks with a +20mm offset should get you close to what you're looking for, especially if you're planning on using a wider tire than stock. If you're on the factory wheels, then it's going to depend on how much your truck's front end is going to be articulating and how aggressive the tread pattern is going to be on your choice of tires. You may see some amount of rub if you're turning while compressed up front.

Unfortunately, this kit will not likely fit with your tires without at least some trimming and rubbing, depending on the backspacing and offsets of your wheels, because it can only add up to 2" or front ride height. If you want an close equivalent to the Fox coilovers that can adjust up higher than 2", you'll want to take a look at F150Lifts BOSS Coilovers.

It's not that difficult at all. You just need sockets, ratchets, hammers for the ball joint and tie rod, and muscles. The only special tool you'll potentially need is Fox's coilover spanner wrench if you're looking to adjust the height of the coilovers.

It just really depends on what you're going to be doing with your truck. The Fox 2.0 system is a good all-around kit with an excellent street ride and better off-road performance than stock. The ICON system has amazing off-road performance, but its street ride is very firm, and many people aren't fans. Secondly, you need to be careful which coilover and shock kit you're getting if you are planning to do a lift kit down the road, as not all of the components included in either kit will be compatible with a given lift kit. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific with what your plans are for the truck.

Do I need upper control arms with this kit? I do some very mild trail riding but that's all. Additionally would I be able to still run stock wheels with LT. 275/70R18 wheels? You likely won't need UCAs unless the type of riding you're doing involves fully articulating your suspension to full droop. You should be able to use your stock wheels with that size tire without an issue. Fox's coilovers and shocks are a bit more firm then stock on the street, but it's not an overly dramatic change, and your truck will handle much better with less body roll and less bounce after large bumps.

You'd likely be fine with just the coilovers and the shocks. As long as you're not going to be maxing out your travel and binding the factory ball joint on the regular, you ought to be okay. If your off-roading does involve a lot of high-articulation stuff, then you may want to consider UCAs.

I'm not much into the off-roading other than the ocasional old dirt road, but I want a shock that will improve the ride quality on my 2011 screw that has been leveled with 33x12.50 20s on it. It rides like a log wagon, almost like something is wrong. I'm a huge fox fan but not a fan of the price, my question is, would it be worth my money to buy these shocks over some others for my application or are they over kill for what I wil do with them?

The kit probably is a bit "overkill" in regards to its performance capabilities versus your application, but its ride quality is excellent. If you just want leveling while maintaining ride quality, you could just grab a set of Fox 2.0 Coilovers on their own. If that's still a bit pricey, then you should check out the Bilstein 5100 Leveling Struts.

How would these compare to the stock FOX setup on a Raptor? would ride/handling be the same or similar?

Overall street ride quality and handling will be more or less similar, though I'd make the argument that the 2.0 Coilovers have a bit smoother of a ride than the Raptors using the top perch setting on their factory shocks. Unfortunately, off-road performance is an apples to oranges comparison. The Raptor Fox shocks are longer than these coilovers (in fact, you can use Raptor take-offs with 4" lift kits on the standard F150s), and they're paired with LCAs and UCAs that have more travel than their equivalents on the standard 2009 to 2013 F150s. However, the Fox 2.0s are a pretty great jump up from the factory struts and rear shocks of the F150s, especially when it comes to rebound and fade, and they do improve travel to some extent.

You could technically use these coilovers with your lift kit as long as you used them with the front strut spacers that came with the lift. The coilovers are not long enough to work as standalone coilovers with the lift. That being said, the rear shocks included in this package will not work at all due to the fact that they aren't long enough to handle a 4" rear block. The rear shocks you'd need are located here.

I have a 2012 eco boost 150 that I made the mistake of adding the rancho my ride system to. I added this system front and rear to tow my wakeboarding boat because of how weak the suspension is. It was a complete waist of money, it was worse than the factory suspension and I now get airborne over speed bumps on the lightest setting of the front shocks... Finally my question, can I run the fox 2.0 system with rear airbags?

If you mean load-leveling air bags, then yes, the Fox 2.0s will work with them just fine. However, depending on the model of bag, you may need to keep the Fox front coilovers at a slightly lower ride height than their full 2" capability to properly level the truck when the airbags are inflated.

Do I need to get the fox 2.0 spanner wrench to adjust the front coilover height? Or do the necessary tools come with the kit?

Unless you don't mind fabricating your own tool, then the spanner wrench is definitely recommended.

I have no previous expertise with any kind of level kit. But would this level kit lend itself to me readjusting the front coilovers for when I have to pull a trailer or take a load down the road?

If you mean can they be dropped down in ride height to level out a load, then yes, but that may not be possible if you jumped up in tire size. The best way to improve your truck's towing capabilities is with a set of air bags or other towing-specific upgrade.

Would these be alright to run with only a 1 in leveling spacer, or would that still to be too harsh on my angles? And if so, would that effect the ride quality of the fox shocks?

You could do it, and it probably wouldn't have THAT much effect on your overall ride quality, but it will suffer some with any spacer kit. Frankly, if you want a full 3" of lift, I'd recommend going with our F150Lifts BOSS Coilovers. We've been extremely happy with them on our project truck, and we can package them with any set of shocks you want if you give us a call at 1-877-578-2433.

Are the 2.0's revalvable/rebuildable? If so, can stage3 provide this service when the time comes?

They are rebuildable, and we will have the Fox 2.0 Rebuild kit on the site in the near future, however, you are better off finding a local shop to to your rebuild/revalve. After shipping the shocks back and forth from us, it would cost you a ton of extra cash.

Neither these rear shocks, or most other performance rear shocks, have any effect on towing ability. Only when you get into things like add-a-leafs, rear blocks, or new leaf packs will you see a positive or negative change in towing.

If they're in stock, they can be at your door in as little as three days. However, availability of these shocks is hit and miss due to their demand, and you should call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 for latest availability.

I have a 2013 f-150 4x4 and I'm off-road very often with the truck. Nothing high speed but a lot of shock travel. Which would suit me better the fox 2.0 coilovers or 2.5 coilovers? I'm for sure getting the 2.0 rear shocks.

Travel shouldn't too big of an issue for the coilovers themselves, but if the terrain's fairly rough, then you might want to consider the 2.5s, just because their upper and lower shock and spring mounts are more heavy-duty. If you're mostly just moderate trail riding, than the 2.0s should be fine.

I have a 2012 F150 4wd with a 4 inch rancho lift with a 1 inch spacer, I am looking for something to improve ride quality and give better offroad performance, will this setup work with my lift i currently have? if so at what setting? Any other reccomendations? Thanks,

These shocks are not long enough for your lift. You'd be much better off grabbing a set of Ranchos that are built for their 4" lift kit systems.

Would these rear shocks be ok to use with a rear lift block or would that over-extend them? I want to use a 1" or 2" taller block and want to make sure these would be compatible.

The shocks can handle up to an additional 1" of lift over stock, according to Fox. A 1" taller block would work fine.

What are the changes made to the 2014's front suspension that cause the fitment issues?

There were a couple of minor things done to the upper mounts, but the biggest change was the lower control arm shock mount. 2009-2013 F150s used a standard clevis/bushing mount, but the 2014 trucks switched over to a bar and pin mount like GM has been using on their trucks for eons now. The good news is that a ton of companies (including Fox) now have 2014 F150 front coilover options. We just need to get them up on the site and check availability. The front coilovers can add two inches of total front lift/leveling. The FOX rear shocks don't provide any additional rear lift.
