Increases Braking Consistency and Cooling for Improved Performance

The stock blank brake rotors on your 2004-2011 F150 or Raptor do fine during normal street driving, but when you start pushing your truck hard off-road or towing and hauling heavy, they tend to build up heat which can lead to poor braking performance and even warping. The EBC GD Series Rotors are built to to overcome the shortcomings of the stock rotors and give your F150 or Raptor improved across-the-board braking performance. The unique dimpled and slotted surface provides cleaning and degassing of the contact surface of the rotor, along with improved cooling properties so that your awesome F150 and Raptor build sees a huge improvement in stopping power, braking consistency, and better reliability over the stock blank rotors. The EBC GD Series rotors come standard with a corrosion-resistant finish that looks great and helps increases the lifespan of the rotors over standard non-coated rotors. The GD Series rotors drop right into place of the stock rotors and reuse the factory brake pads and calipers.

Strong Cast Iron Rotors with Unique Dimpled and Slotted Surface with Black Coating

Each rotor is built out of high-quality materials and are precisely machined to provide excellent performance and perfect fitment for your truck. The GDS Series Rotors are made out heavy-duty G3000 iron, and are cast at EBC's facilities in Europe. The rotors are then carefully machined with their unique slotted and dimpled pattern in either the United Kingdom or the United States. The dimples in each rotor surface allow the pads to properly degas during heavy braking, which allows for more consistent pad contact with the rotor all without compromising the strength of the rotor with fully-drilled holes. The specialized swept slots allow for heat to escape and flow away from the center of the rotor, which helps drop operating temperatures by up to 100° cooler than standard blank rotors. Each rotor comes standard with EBC's Thermic Black coating over the rotor's entire surface. The coating keeps the rotor safe from corrosion during transit and protects the hub surface and vane edges from corrosion during normal operation.
