Unlike more basic LSDs, the Grip Pro features a unique spiral gear operating mechanism that provides fast and smooth locking, progressive traction, an doesn't require friction modifier, making the Grip Pro the perfect for choice for any F150 owner looking for an improvement in traction both on and off the road.

Spiral Gear Locking Mechanism Inside Machined Forged Steel Case

The Powertrax Pro Grip LSD's specialized operating mechanism is paired with an extremely strong construction to create an LSD that won't let you and your truck down. For 8.8" 31-Spline Rear Ends Only: this differential will only fit F150s with an 8.8" 31-spline rear end, and it will not fit F150s with a 9.75" or Super 8.8" 34-spline rear end. Please verify your F150's rear end before ordering.

Additional Hardware Required: this differential will also require a new bearing and race for proper installation into an F150. Part numbers LM603049 and LM603012, respectively.
