High-Mount Intercooler that Allows Bumper and Winch Clearance

Fitting an aggressive front off-road bumper and a winch big enough to pull your off-road ready Raptor out of potential trouble is easier said than done thanks to the factory intercooler location. ADD and aFe teamed up to provide a solution in the form of this High-Mount Intercooler Kit. This system comes with an entirely new intercooler along with all the brackets and tubing you need to move the intercooler into your Raptor's upper grille area so that your Raptor gets clearance to mount up practically any of ADD's winch-capable or frame-cut bumpers without issues. Along with the higher mounting location, the ADD and aFe intercooler also offers improved airflow, giving your Raptor a bump in performance. The High-Mount Intercooler even comes standard with an Adaptive Cruise Control Bracket that allows you to preserve your Raptor's Adaptive Cruise Functionality with your bumper of choice.

All-Aluminum Intercooler with Heavy-Duty Mounting Beams and New Tubing

ADD and aFe designed their high-mount intercooler to clear all of ADD's front off-road bumpers, whether they were winch-capable or frame-cut without sacrificing performance or function. The ADD High-Mount Intercooler Kit is built around an aFe intercooler with an 18-core and end tanks that are made entirely out of aluminum and expertly TiG welded to ensure leak-free operation. The intercooler features a bar-plate design that aids in heat dissipation. Each intercooler comes with a heavy-duty mounting beam for relocating the intercooler to the upper grille, as well as new tubing to properly route air both into and out of the intercooler itself. The intercooler installs with only minor amounts of trimming and deletes the factory grille shutters. The intercooler is CARB approved and 50-state legal for street use. ADD and aFe include all necessary installation hardware and instructions.

BOV Position: this intercooler can come with either a standard or clocked BOV position on the included tubing. The "Clocked" option is required for use with ADD's frame-cut bumpers. The standard position is meant for all other applications.
