Deletes your IWE Actuators to Help Avoid IWE Grinding Issues

The IWE system that locks and unlocks the front CVs from the hubs of your F150 or Raptor is pretty problem-prone, and the IWE actuators themselves are prone to break when you push your truck hard off-road. If you're either at your wits end (even with the help of certain blog posts) or you're going to be pushing your truck hard off-road, RCV's IWE Eliminator Kit is here to help. The Eliminator Kit completely replaces your truck's troublesome IWE actuators with machined steel sleeves that permanently lock your truck's CVs into its hubs. While this usually results in a decrease in fuel economy, you'll no longer have to worry about grind or other potential IWE system issues.

Heavy-Duty Steel Eliminator Sleeves with Drop-In Installation

The Eliminator kit is built tough and will survive even the most brutal off-road applications. Each Eliminator kit comes with a pair of sleeves made from durable 4340 steel that's been carefully machined to drop right into your truck without permanent modifications. The sleeves only require the removal of your F150 or Raptor's IWE solenoids for installation and drop right onto the ends of your truck's CVs and engage directly with the splines of the wheel hubs without modifications. RCV even backs their IWE Eliminator Kit with a limited lifetime warranty.

2017 f-150 3.5 eco Lariat

Fords design out of the factory was poorly executed. These are a must for any Ford 4x4 as they correct the issue. Everything feels nice and tight and installation took about 1hr.

2014 F150 SCREW Lariat 4x4

I wanted these for some time. Passenger IWE was making noises that went away in 4A. Install was easy and the noise is now gone. I wish I had just put these on a long time ago.

2018 F-150 STX

Great replacement for the weak IWEs that ford installs these range of trucks. Now I don't have to worry about not having 4wd in a snowstorm! Remember to replace the fluid in your transfer case also as I went through a set of IWEs in a year because my transfer case was binding up.

RCV's install instructions are here. The only part that needs to be removed is the IWE itself.

The stock setup has seals the prevent moisture and dust from getting in from the back side.. with this set up wouldn't it be a problem getting in through the back side of the hub?

With the way the axle splines into the IWE eliminator and the way the eliminator splines into the hub, there's not a huge opportunity for dirt and debris to get into the rotating components, despite the back side of the hub being slightly more exposed.

Am really interested in this product but just got to ask, if I read the part where this permanently locks your CV to the hub correctly, and gas mileage reducing, does this mean that the 4x4 will always be engaged? Mines an 09 with the manual 4x4 for reference.

Installing this kit will not engage 4WD. These eliminators solely lock the hubs onto the CVs, causing them and the front differential to spin, when they otherwise wouldn't. However, your transfer case is not engaged, so actual 4WD is not active until you hit you actually select 4x4 with the stock knob.

Would nt discounting the power to the solenoid do the same results ?

Disconnecting the solenoid would disable the IWE system and lock the hubs, but you do still have the potential of the IWE's tearing or cracking (granted, if you're driving your truck hard, that's not super-likely), which could potentially cause issues with your hubs down the road.

How much of a loss in fuel economy will be noticed with the addition of this kit?

We have not tested this kit ourselves, so I can't say for certain. If I were to take an educated guess, you may lose up to 1mpg, but possibly more.
