2012 F150 Ecoboost
I ordered this and received it in 2 days. I also ordered a resonator to add to this system. Installation was fast, even with modifying it to fit with the resonator. The stainless system is very well built and very good quality. The only thing I wished they would have added with the kit was a flex pipe. That would have removed some of the vibrations from the muffler. The one big negative I have found is that the exhaust was extremely loud. Drone in the cab is almost unbearable. I first removed the resonator which helped some, then also removed the muffler which helped a lot. Right now I am running straight pipes. I really expected the muffler to actually do something so I am taking off a star for that. But the quality of the system and the fitment was spot on so that is why it gets 4 stars.

I just installed this exhaust on my 2014 f150 5.0 it was really simple. All you need is 2 jack stands it your gonna install your self to help hold in place. The sound is amazing it not to loud cruising but if you want to kick it down then it comes alive. It will definitely make people turn there heads driving by

install was easy, but the exit of the exhaust came out under the box so I used the extra length of pipe to extend the tailpipe out far enough. its also very loud had to install a resonator to get rid of bad drone in the cab. it did give it lots of power

Customer Question Have a 5.0 2014 150 with a 3.5” diamond eye cat back and AFE shorty headers. Will the AFE mid pipe fit both? I’d like to complete the full exhaust system.

Customer Answer aFe's Y-pipe should fit both, since it's designed to fit with the stock cat-back or a stock-replacement cat-back. We haven't tried it personally, so we can't guarantee how will it will work out, but on paper, it should work.

Customer Question Will this kit fit my 2011 FX4 crew cab long bed?

Customer Answer Diamond Eye includes an extension pipe that allows for the exhaust system to fit on all F150 wheelbase sizes, though I believe that 157" wheelbase trucks will require some trimming of that pipe, since it's built for trucks with 163" wheelbases.

Customer Answer This kit will not fit the 2015 F150s. Unfortunately, Diamond Eye does not yet have a variant of this cat-back kit for the 2015-2016 F150s at this time.

Customer Answer If 0 is stock and 10 is the Flowmaster Outlaw Kit, then the Diamondeye is a solid 4.5. Noticeably louder than stock, but not excessive.
