Drilled and Slotted Surface with Silver-Zinc Plated Finish

Power Stop's full set of drilled and slotted brake rotors were carefully designed to improve your Mustang's braking performance while having excellent reliability. The rotors are made out of high-quality G3000 grade cast iron and feature OE-style internal vanes. The surface of each rotor features drilled holes with beveled edges that allows surface heat to drop into the rotor's internal vanes more effectively than stock blank rotors to reduce temperatures by up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Each rotor also has rounded surface slots that help clear way brake dust and other debris away from the rotor's contact patch which provides improved initial bite and more consistently during back-to-back stops. The rotors come standard with a silver-zinc plated finish which allows them to resist corrosion much more effectively than stock blank rotors.

Powerful Carbon Fiber-Ceramic Friction Compound that Drop into Place of Stock Pads

Power Stop carefully designed their Z23 Carbon-Ceramic Brake Pads to provide an excellent improvement in braking performance, all without causing undue rotor wear and keeping dust generation to a minimum. The secret is these pads' specialized friction compound which is made from a combination of traditional ceramic and real carbon fiber which gives the pads more bite and stopping power than traditional semi-metallic brake pads, but also makes them easy on your choice of rotors and generate much less dust than most OEM brake pads. The friction surface of each brake pad is thermal-scorched for a fast break in period and to provide more consistent performance. The pads are also chamfered and slotted like OEM pads, and even come with rubberized shims, all of which work together to keep brake noise and vibrations to a minimum. The friction material is built into a heavy-duty backing plate that's powder coated to prevent corrosion. These pads drop right into place of the factory brake pads on 2015-2019 Mustangs with stock rear calipers.
