Absolutely worth the money if your looking to level out the truck and do it the right way. The adjustments on the stage 5 kit make a world of difference in ride quality. Definitely a firmer ride but I can take any speed bump now and never have to slow down. Off road this kit shines and makes you feel to confident, hitting 60mph over dirt roads and the truck just floats over bumps. Puts a huge smile on my face. Install was easy enough. Grab a friend, a case of beer and 4-6 hours of your time and you'll being rocking in no time. Thank you to stage3motorsports for your help and answering any question I had prior to making the purchase.

Customer Question I just bought this along with a deaver k96hd spring pack for my 2014 f150 Fx4 tremor. I am running stock black 20"s with Toyo at2 extremes sized 295/60/r20 and refuse spacers so I need new wheels as well. I currently am leveled and only rub at full lock in reverse on the passenger side sway bar with shoulder lugs. I'll have a rake only slightly after capping the bed later. Technically, a 20x9in doesn't have a perfect 4.75 in backspace, right? Would a -12mm (or something like 4.53in) work? Is it possibly to go + any? Would an imaginary -6mm offset on a 20x9in wheel make that perfect 4.75in backspace that the website States is required? I'm dying looking for a beadlock rim that doesn't destroy the fitment, does it exist?

Customer Answer This kit requires a wheel with a 5" backspace in order for a 12.50" tire to clear the UCAs and the remote reservoirs. You can absolutely use a wheel that has more than 5" of backspace, as long as you use a tire narrower than 12.50" wide. To meet ICON's backspace requirements for a 20x9", you would need a wheel with a 0mm or 01mm offset. You can use a 20x9" wheel with either a +12mm or +18mm offset as long as you keep using that 295/60R20 tire. Your final choice in backspacing and offset is really going to depend on what kind of stance you want your truck to have, though you do have some limitations due to the ICON kit. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 so we can get more specific with what you're going for.

Customer Question My suspension is toast and I am looking at adding this kit with the 2.5 add a leaf. What size rear block do I need for the truck to be level?

Asked by: Mike - 12/5/2018
Customer Answer This kit's out-of-the-box ride height is at about 2.5" over stock, which would put you dead-level with the factory block. Doing a 1.5" add-a-leaf kit will give you back front rake, even if you do crank up the coilovers to their maximum 2.63" ride height setting. If you want to stay dead-level but still do the add-a-leaf, you could just remove your factory block and set your leaf packs right on your axle, though you would probably have to get shorter U-bolts, as I'm not sure the stock U-bolts are threaded high enough.

Customer Question Looking to have this added to my 2014 FX4 but don't want to change out the premium 20" wheels. It looks like maybe that won't work though, is that the case?

Asked by: Jim - 7/26/2016
Customer Answer The issue is that the stock 20x8.5" wheels have a very large backspace (6.5") which exceeds the maximum recommended for clearing both the coilover's remote reservoir and the ICON uniball upper control arm with 11.50" wide tires. Now, you can technically use your factory wheels, but you're going to be extremely limited on both the diameter and width of your tires to the point where you may not be able to go much bigger than stock. If you're dead-set on keep your wheels, then we strongly recommend using wheel spacers so that you have more options.

Customer Question hi Does the kit require additional parts (break lines, sway bars), will the factory wheels on an fx4 f150 work with the kit or will it require new wheels, and will the kit void factory warranties? thanks

Asked by: ray - 10/29/2014
Customer Answer The kit won't require any additional suspension or braking hardware, so you're good there. The factory FX4 wheels do not fit due to the require placement of the remote reservoirs, especially when you jump up to larger tires. You don't necessarily need new wheels if you use a set of wheel spacers, and I believe the last one of our customers that went that route ended up using 1.25" wheel spacers, which worked just fine. The kit will not void your factory Powertrain Warranty, and the only way your dealership would refuse a warranty repair is if they can attribute a failure to a given aftermarket part. Your best bet would be to talk to your service advisor and see what they have to say about the issue.
