I'm happy with them. I had already purchased the Ford Performance Bilstein set, but Ford continues to push back production. I couldn't keep waiting an undefined period of time. So I asked Stage3 to move my money over to this set. The difference in ride over stock suspension is incredible and painfully obvious. Whether or not they are better than Bilstein, I may never know. But in my mind, I feel like this was the right move to make. My truck looks friggin bad af and that's worth the extra $300 I spent for being impatient. The team at Stage3 is top notch, and worked with me throughout. I also picked up the SPC UCA's. Check out the pics and it may help you take the leap.

Customer Question If I have a 2023 F-150 Platinum with the Powerboost, what is the recommendation for the best coil over (Bilstein, FOX, or ICON) to fit 285/75/18’s on Fuel Rebel 6 wheels? Thank you!

Asked by: Drew Ellis - 9/22/2022
Customer Answer There really is no "best" coilover, and it depends on whether you're comparing 6112s, 2.5s, 2.0s, etc. which turns into an apples-to-oranges conversation pretty quick. In general, the ICON 2.5s are more tune for off-roading and can handle higher-speed trail runs more effectively than Fox 2.0s, Bilstein 6112s, and similar Fox 2.5s. However, the ICONs do have a pretty stiff street ride, which is not ideal for a truck that's primarily on the road. Your best bet would be to call us directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about what you're trying to do with your truck.

Customer Question Ordered a 22 with max tow. Heard these have insane factory rake of 4”. Instead of taking the chance with a spacer puck I’m looking at these. If I adjust the front height to max of 2.75” lift and I find it’s to high can these be easily backed down to 2.5” ? Also are the components angles stressed to much with so much front lift?

Asked by: Jeff - 3/9/2022
Customer Answer ICON's coilovers are fairly easy to adjust. You just need ICON's 2.5 spanner wrench here.

Customer Question I just purchased a 2022 F-150. I'm also looking to put a wheel /tire combination on (20"x9" wheel with 35"x11.5"OR 20 LT Nitto Grapplers) will this combination work with this suspension. Thanks for your help.

Asked by: Carl DiVeglia Jr - 1/26/2022
Customer Answer A lot will depend on what specific wheel you're using, specifically its width, offset, and backspacing. Unfortunately, we haven't done comprehensive tire fitment testing on the 2021-2022 F150s yet. If you crank the coilovers up to 2.5" of ride height or taller, you can likely fit on a 295/60R20 (34x11.50") without issues on most 20x9" wheel options. 35x11.50" are probably possible with this kit without rub, but it would depend on the wheel. Give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected] so we can get more specific about what wheel you're planning to use.

Customer Question Does the rear height adjust with these? If the front is set at 2.75, would that then create an off level stance given a 2-2.25” front lift is usually level? Also, 285/55/R22 -18mm Fuel Blitz with Nitto RG can fit without trimming?

Asked by: DC4 - 1/16/2022
Customer Answer The rear shocks do not add any ride height. On a solid-axle, leaf-sprung rear suspension, the shocks just provide damping. To add rear ride height you'd need larger rear blocks, lift shackles, an add-a-leaf kit, or new leaf springs. In general, it takes about 2.5" of front leveling to get the 2021-2022 F150s to a "dead-level" stance. The coilovers come out of the box at around 1.5" of lift, so to hit the 2.5" mark, you'd need to adjust them up. As far as your tire, we would need to know the wheel width. Your best bet would be to give us a call directly at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question This suspension package is both front and rear. Do you have an option for just the front for a 2021 4WD F150?

Customer Question Hello, what height are the front shocks set at out of the box. Thank you.

Asked by: Chris - 12/5/2021
Customer Answer According to ICON, the front coilovers are set at around 1.5" of ride height out of the box.

Customer Question A follow on question please. Will BFG 34x10.5 17's all terrain KO2's clear on factory steel wheels? Overall diameter is listed at 33.5" with a cross section of 10.5". Truck is a 2001 F150 XL 4x4 with a 5.0 V8. I'm thinking those pizza cutters might be just right without replacing wheels or adding wheel spacers.

Asked by: Chris - 12/5/2021
Customer Answer In general, we recommend using a 33x11.50" tire to avoid all chances of trimming. That being said, on the stock wheels, you can usually go a little taller, and you'll likely be fine with that tire. Granted, we can't strictly guarantee it, considering we haven't done comprehensive tire fitment testing on the 2021 F150s as of yet.
