With the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger's smallish stature, it's not difficult to push the stock dampers past their limits both on or off the road. When that time comes, King's 2.5 Adjustable Coilovers and Shocks are here to save the day. This complete suspension package provides your 2019-2023 Ford Ranger all the suspension performance it needs to dominate both on and off the beaten path. With the addition of 3" of leveling to your midsize truck, you will receive many benefits. The leveling will reduce your Ranger's rake, provide extra clearance for larger tires and allow for different wheel combinations. Both the shocks and coilovers drop right into place of your stock components, making it easy to get improved on-road handling and off-road performance.
2.5" Extended Travel Coilovers with Shock Bodies & Adjustable Remote Reservoirs
King's OEM Performance Series 2.5 extended travel coilovers give improved rebound, better compression, 3" more wheel travel (0.5" more than standard King coilovers), and greatly reduced fade over the stock struts which gives your truck an all-around bump in on and off-road performance. They feature heavy-duty construction with an off-road racing inspired internal design that is then topped off with remote-mounted reservoirs to maximize your Ranger's off-road performance. The coilovers are each built around a 2.5" diameter shock body that are precision bored and honed with an internal cadmium plating that provides a nearly flawless sealing surface for the valves and piston. The coilovers feature 7/8" diameter shafts and 6061 aluminum pistons that provide incredible reliability. The coilovers have hard anodized 6061 billet aluminum mounts with spherical bearings that reduce deflection for maximum control. The remote reservoirs fitted to each coilover are made out of hard anodized 6063 billet aluminum and use high-quality fittings and pinch-resistant hoses to ensure reliable operation. The reservoirs even feature built-in compression adjusters that allow you to dial in the coilover's ride and performance. The compression adjuster is an easy-to-use knob located on the reservoir that allows you to tune the flow of oil going to and from the reservoir to change compression firmer or softer. King's coilovers are also able to add 2.5" of front ride height right out of the box, but can be increased to 3" using the adjustment collar. This allows you to fit big wheel and tire combinations onto your Ranger so that your truck gets the ground clearance it needs to go places your stock truck could only dream of. Each set of King coilovers includes mounting hardware for the reservoirs and are designed to bolt-on right in place of your factory struts and coil springs. The extended travel version of King's coilovers do require aftermarket upper control arms, and are not compatible with stock UCA's.
2.5" Diameter Shocks with Piggyback Reservoirs and Adjustable Bypass Tubes
King combines larger shock bodies with a race-inspired internal design and then tops everything off with a piggyback reservoir so that you Ranger gets a big bump in overall suspension performance. These powerful shocks feature large shafts and pistons that are combined with a high-quality shock design and piggyback reservoirs to provide increased travel, improved rebound, better compression, and greatly reduced fade over your truck's factory rear shocks all while bolting right on in their place. The rear shocks each feature 2.5" diameter shock bodies with large-diameter shafts and a heat-treated 6061-T6 aluminum shaft that helps maintain excellent ride quality while producing extra performance. The shocks are each made out of high-quality aluminum with an anodized finish and feature high-strength rod ends with spherical bearings that help minimize deflection. The reservoir of each shock is made from hard anodized 6063 aluminum alloy which greatly improves heat dissipation over internal reservoir shocks while resisting corrosion in practically any climate or application. The piggyback reservoirs are even fitted with a King compression adjuster that allows you to tune your Ranger's ride and performance. The compression adjuster is located on the piggyback reservoirs and works by adjusting oil flow from the reservoir to the main shock body. This shock can additionally handle up to 1" of rear ride height over stock for the best performance.
ICON Tubular Delta Joint Upper Control Arms
Extended travel coilovers must be paired with aftermarket upper control arms and will not work with stock UCA's. We recommend ICON's Tubular Delta Joint UCA to strengthen and improve your impressive King 2.5 Coilovers. The CNC Tubular Steel will provide toughness and longevity from any dangerous off-road obstacles your Ranger drives over! Your Ranger will additionally have improved suspension geometry for predictable handling. This will help you navigate sharp turns and avoid anything that might make you nervous. While obstacles are a big concern, ICON's Tubular UCA also gives you peace of mind no matter what weather you took your Ranger into. Patent pending Delta Joint technology gives you the durability and weather resistance of a ball joint while getting the performance of a uniball.
Vehicle Fitment: 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Ford Ranger 4WD
RWD/2WD Ranger Fitment: This shock kit will not fit an RWD/2WD Ranger out of the box, due to slight differences in the RWD truck's lower shock mounts. Replacing or boring out the included bushing sleeve will allow fitment on an RWD/2WD Ranger.

For Aluminum Spindles Only: the UCAs in this kit will only fit Rangers with cast aluminum spindles, and will not fit Rangers with cast iron spindles. Please verify your truck's spindle/knuckle type before ordering.
