Sturdy Cargo Storage Area With Vehicle Specific Design

Add some more cargo storage options to your 1999-2022 F250 or F350 with this roof rack from Front Runner. This cargo rack features the Slimline II Tray, Wind Deflector and 2 Foot Rails to mount the Slimline II Tray to your Ford Super Duty. Front Runner says that this particular roof rack was built and designed specifically for off-road use. It is created with high density aluminum and is rated to carry 660 lbs. As part of the design, the load support slats on the rack fit into a double walled aluminum extrusion channel on the side profiles and are secured using locking nuts. The patented design of that creates a joint support that is stronger than usual for a normal roof rack. It also features an L-shaped front and rear slat design that makes the rack both light and strong.

Long Lasting Durable Finish On Top Of Strong Construction

It is important to note that the installation process of this product does require you to do some drilling, but after that it is a very secure and long lasting fit. Part of the reason why it is long lasting is because it is crafted entirely with corrosion free aluminum as opposed to stainless steel. There is also an extra layer that is powder coated Satin Black using Akzonobel’s Interpon 600 (CPO 6034). This coating is one of the industry's most durable and lasting finishes because it is formulated for exterior uses. In tests they found that the finish showed no visible damage at 500 hours of continuous salt spray.
