This set of four 6"x8" speakers are simple, easy, and direct replacements for the speakers in your Mustang's doors and the two 6"x8" speakers in your rear deck with these awesome, upgraded speakers from Kicker. Each of these speakers are louder, more power, and have much better range than your factory speakers making them some of the most effective and hassle-free audio upgrades that you can make to your 2005 to 2014 Mustang.

Easily Installed Factory Replacements

Each of these speakers will fit behind the speaker grilles on both your doors and rear deck to maintain that clean OEM-style look. This complete set of four new Kicker speakers are compatible with both the standard factory sound system and the upgraded Mach 460 system with no modifications. Each of these high-quality speakers comes with the a complete set of wiring to make installation even easier. While these speakers don't require an amplifier to produce better sound, they can be used with the Mach 460 amps and other aftermarket amplifiers.

2013 to 2014 Mustang Fitment: this speaker kit will only fit 2013 to 2014 Mustangs with base audio, and will not 2013 to 2014 Mustangs with Ford's optional Shaker System.

will these speakers work with the shaker 1000 system. I have a 2005 convertible the shaker 1000 has the two subs in the trunk and the subs in the door

This kit will work on a 2005 Mustang with a Shaker 1000 System. Just keep in mind, that this kit only comes with four door speakers and does not include replacement component speakers or subwoofers.

Sorry I'm new to this car speaker thing. I have a 2008 Ford mustang. I see this will fit the top speakers on the door. But does this also come with the 8" subwoofer too?

It does not. This kit only comes with four 6x8s and wiring adapters. It does not come with a woofer or component speakers to replace other parts of Shaker Systems. This kit can only be used as replacements for the standard door speakers.

Why is this better then your 134$ one ? Has anyone bought this set yet?

The KS-Series speakers are a bit higher quality and have better fidelity than the CS-Series speakers. We don't see too many KS kits getting sold for the Mustangs, but there are more than a few reviews for the 2004-2014 F150 version of this kit.

I have a mustang 2011 GT with shaker system and subwoofer. Does this kicks fit and can improve the original sound?

The Kicker speakers and Metra wiring adapters will fit fine on a 2011 Mustang GT. The KS-Series speakers are still an improvement over the Shaker speakers, though not as huge of an improvement over the base Mustang speakers. However, on a car that's pushing 10 years old, they should make a noticeable difference.

Yep. These speakers do not have an issue fitting 2010 Mustangs with a Shaker System. The only problem children are the 2013-2014 Mustangs, since they use a component setup in the front doors.

An amplifier is not required for a pretty significant sound improvement over stock. However, these speakers can handle up to a 200-watt amplifier pretty readily if you did want to tie one in at a later date.
