ARB's High-Output On-Board Compressor is built from the ground up for reliability and performance under even the most extreme conditions. The High-Output Compressor features a compact design that allows it to fit practically anywhere that's convenient on your off-road vehicle of choice. Each compressor is fully-sealed against the elements to prevent dust and moisture ingress from ruining your good time. Friction is reduced due to the hard-anodized cylinder bore. To increase lifespan, a Teflon-impregnanted carbon fiber piston seal helps. Lightweight, high-strength engineering-grade materials give the compressor a great use. For increased safety, an over-pressure safety valve helps keep you safe from high-pressure situations. Electronics can boost temperatures to dangerous levels, so ARB designed the motor to be internally thermal protected. A MAXI fuse also allows for a professional level in-line circuit protection.

Ford Ranger

Great piece of equipment . I'm able to set the box down near the front of my truck, attach the power cables to the battery and the air hose can reach all four tires. I did wish this came with a pressure gauge so I did not have to use digital one in my truck's dashboard or buy a separate one. Also the air compressor gets really hot. Be careful removing the air hose from it after using it. Burned myself on the hose. Also dirt seems to collect in that box, I am constantly dumping dirt out. Lastly, the fitting leaks air when on the tire stem occasionally. Has to be held at the right angle to prevent this. This happens about ~25% of the time.

2019 Ford Ranger

So I bought this kit understanding it is a portable kit but intentions were to make it a permanent mounted on board air system. Say the least it works very well. With that said it also voided the warranty that I got when I bought it. The pictures will show it mounted on my Ranger in the bed and I will say the wiring in the mounting were probably the two tough Parts. Other than that it was a pretty simple process. I have already tried out the compressor on my truck. I have 32 inch tires and before I was using a Harbor Freight air compressor that was built into a jump pack. It would take me 45 minutes to air up all four tires from 24 PSI to 30 PSI. With this compressor kit I can air up all four tires from 20 psi to 30 PSI in roughly about 5 minutes. That might sound like a lot to you in time still but I can tell you it's much nicer having a compressor that'll do just that. From the other guy who said that the compressor gets warm he is not wrong but also be aware that this compressor is air-cooled.

In case you are wondering, ARB confirmed that the Ford Performance M-1830 FPAC is exactly the same as the ARB CKMP12, rebranded and with a blue air hose instead of orange. Made in Australia, very nice kit.

Could you tell me the dimensions of the carrying box the ARB compressor is mounted to? Trying to determine where is will fit when stored.

According to Ford Performance, this compressor kit has a dimension of 12.5" x 9" x 9".
