The huge outlet diameter of this tip gives your truck a menacing, tough look in practically no time at all. Each tip measures 10" long and features an angle-cut, dual-walled lip. The tip is made from 304 stainless steel and comes standard with a polished finish and embossed with the MBRP logo. The easily fits on to just about any 3.5" cat-back exhaust system and does not required any welding or clamping. Just tighten its built-in screw and you're done!

For 3.5" Cat-Back Systems Only: this tip will only fit onto 3.5" exhaust systems due to its 3.5" inlet which necks up to a 4" outlet.

Dose this tip slip over the entire tail pipe or do you have to cut it?

That's really going to depend on your vehicle and how far you want the tip to stick out. The tip will fit over a 3.5" tailpipe outlet, though if you want the tip to sit flush with your vehicle's body, you'll likely have to trim back the factory tailpipe by at least a bit. You'll also need to be careful about body and trim clearance.

As long as your exhaust system's tailpipe has a true 3.5" outlet, this tip should fit without any issues.
