The stock transmission cooler under the hood of your 2003-2007 F250 or F350 Super Duty does its job for daily driving and grocery hauling, but anything more suited to the name "Super Duty," and you might be in trouble. The 6.0L Powerstroke is a great engine with the right mods, and one of those mods is this heavy-duty Transmission Cooler by Mishimoto. The 37-row Mishimoto stacked plate cooler provides a larger surface area over both of the stock coolers for drops in transmission fluid temperature up to -10° with no additional fluid pressure drop.

In order to keep transmission temperatures down and maintain healthy engine operation, Mishimoto designed this heavy-duty aftermarket transmission cooler to hold more fluid than stock and increase capacity by 1/3 of a quart. This along with a 21% increase in core volume helps keep fluids at a minimal temperature and maintain fluid pressure. The best part about this transmission cooler kit is that it requires zero modifications for installation and instead functions using all stock equipment.
